A recent search of the Amazon rainforest on Google Maps’ street view revealed a shocking unblurred image of a man and woman. Redditors caught wind of the image, which has appeared on Google Maps before.
Shocked Redditors have discovered an NSFW image on Google Maps after using the street view function on the Amazon rainforest. According to netizens, the snap was available to see on Google Maps’ street view feature – which typically allows users to see various panoramic shots and street-level views from virtually everywhere across the globe.
Amazon rainforest street view search reveals NSFW image to shocked Redditors
However, it appears one recent image managed to bypass Google’s filters. Nearly all of the street view images are provided by Google themselves, although users can submit their own snaps which are then filtered before being uploaded.
A Reddit thread regarding the Amazon rainforest street view image first appeared over a year ago. ‘Don’t search Amazon rainforest in Google Maps and place the street view guy over the red marker’, it said.
The NSFW image was taken down but seems to have reappeared, at least briefly, in August 2023.
‘It’s back up!’ one person commented in regards to the image on 16 August.
The lewd image appears to show a naked man in a bathroom having intercourse with a woman.
‘It was yesterday,’ another added. ‘But it is currently down. Not sure how google allowed it back.’
The individual in the image is an alleged known photoshopper
It appears the individual in the photo is fairly well known in some circles. Redditors who noticed the crude Amazon rainforest street view image seemed to be able to identify the man straight away.
‘Oh, this guy is a known photoshopper, he has several similar posts across many places in the world,’ one person said.
‘This guy is a prolific streetview spammer, posting pictures of his naked body in tourist spots all over the world,’ another added.
‘Just report it and move on. No need to give him the attention he craves.’
Other media outlets have reported on the alleged photoshopper in the past after another shocking image of him managed to make its way onto Google Maps. In this other image, the man was flaunting his private parts while waving at the camera from his bedroom. He was also holding a mug with his other hand.
It’s unclear how the latest image wound up on Google Maps but it has been taken down now.
