An unverified picture of Donald Trump checking his Spotify Wrapped which is likely to be photoshopped has gone viral on social media.
The hilarious image is taking over Twitter/X this week, where people are joking about what the former president’s Spotify playlist would include.
Donald Trump ‘Spotify Wrapped’ image
In the image, Donald Trump is sitting on a gold chair next to his wife Melania. They are at a dinner and he has an iPad in his hands.
On the screen is what looks like a Spotify Wrapped playlist, which compiles users’ most-played songs at the end of the year.
You can clearly see a photo of one of Frank Sinatra’s albums on the left next to a long list of other song titles on the right.
Wrapped launched in 2016 and returns every November, telling people cool statistics about their listening habits.
Viral Trump picture is probably fake
The image has been shared numerous times on the internet this week following the release of Spotify Wrapped 2023.
However, it’s likely to be fake news as the photo has only ever been shared on social media and meme sites.
A simple image search reveals it was shared on the Chinese site Weibo with the caption: “Trump looking at his Spotify annual summary.”
The politician was probably holding a menu in the picture, not an iPad, and the whole thing is likely to have been made using photoshop.
Internet jokes about Trump’s top artist
The picture has had almost 500,000 views and people are joking about what would be on the politician’s Spotify Wrapped in the comments.
One person wrote: “Definitely Kendrick Lamar as top artist!”
“Lil Wayne for sure,” another joked.
A third person added: “Probably Josh Groban and Michael Buble.”
“Trump is a Nickelback kind of guy,” another added.
Someone else wrote: “Titanium by David Guetta and Sia.”
The thought of Trump rapping along to Kendrick Lamar or rocking out to Nickelback is just hilarious!
