Deadpool 3 Rumor May Explain Ryan Reynolds’ New Marvel Costume (And Weapons)

«Deadpool & Wolverine’s» Super Bowl teaser teased a huge Wolverine story coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe when we saw the back of what looked to be Logan in a white dinner jacket. This hints at the appearance of Patch, an alias he uses while hiding out in Madripoor, a location that’s already been visited in «Falcon and the Winter Soldier.» Additionally, there has been more talk about other variations of Logan, including a wild rumor of Henry Cavill appearing as a Wolverine variant and whispers hinting at the arrival of Wolverinepool, an alleged variant for the upcoming Marvel threequel that’s a hybrid of our titular heroes.

If this version does indeed appear, it would make sense that both Wade and Logan are on a level playing field when they face these characters, particularly Wolverinepool. Does a duel with doppelgangers sound like the kind of confrontation Wolverine had in «Logan?» Certainly. Only this time, it’ll have more meta gags and probably more swearing. By then, we’ll hope that the two are the best of buds that best buds who hate each other can be, and their partnership gets put into bloody effect. We’ll have to wait and see how things turn out when the fresh chimichangas are dished up in «Deadpool & Wolverine,» which hits theatres on July 26.
