You might have had the same hairstyle your whole life, but does it actually suit you most? A viral Face Shape Filter will tell you the answer.

The filter helps you find your face shape and then reveals whether you should have straight, wavy or curly hair.

You use your device’s camera to fit your face into a number of shapes and determine which one is most accurate.

There are six different options: Circle, diamond, oblong, rectangle, triangle and oval.

Then, the effect will tell you which hair type suits you most and give you three different styles to choose from.

The effect was made by a male hair and grooming company called Forte Series and is designed to be used by men.

The filter can be found on the Forte Series website here. However, you can also get it on TikTok.

Another Face Shape Filter is also going viral on TikTok that determines your face shape – but this one has nothing to do with hair.

It follows exactly the same concept of placing your face into different shapes to work out which one it fits most.

It was made by a TikTok user called Grace Choi who told users to tie their hair back and focus on the forehead and chin.
