Hace más de un año que Microsoft anunció oficialmente que Windows Phone y Windows 10 Mobile habían muerto. En realidad lo que abandonaban era el desarrollo de nuevas características, porque seguían ofreciendo actualizaciones de seguridad y ciertas correciones de errores en Windows 10 Mobile.
Ahora Microsoft anuncia que Windows 10 Mobile dejará de recibir esas actualizaciones el próximo 10 de diciembre de 2019. En Redmond recomiendan a los usuarios que no lo habían hecho que migren a dispositivos iOS y Android, para los que Microsoft lleva tiempo desarrollando aplicaciones nativas.
