Amanda Bynes makes TikTok comeback

Amanda Bynes launched a TikTok account on Monday (December 11) with the lengthy username @amandaamandaamanda1986.

She shared three videos in which she platinum blonde hair and bright blue eyebrows, a stark contrast to the dark brown hair she had last time she posted.

People are ecstatic that the Hairspray star has returned to social media, with one person commenting: “So happy to see your face again.”

“Subscribing immediately! So good to hear from you,” said another.

A third fan added: “Amanda Bynes is back!”

Actress addresses her ‘new look’

In one of the videos, the actress addressed her “new look” and revealed she has had a procedure called blepharoplasty which removes excess eyelid skin.

“It was one of the best things I could’ve ever done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin, so I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor,” she said.

“I feel a lot better now about myself, and I’m so glad I had the blepharoplasty surgery. It was one of the greatest things I could’ve ever done.”

In another clip, the star explained that she doesn’t look good in paparazzi pictures because of the “harsh sunlight” outside which creates shadows.

“Also, I have scars on the right side of my face and you can’t really tell unless you see my face in bright light,” she continued.

Child star launches her own podcast

Bynes also announced that she has a new podcast with friend Paul Sieminski and the first episode is available now on YouTube and Spotify.

“I want to thank everyone who watched the first episode of the podcast. I had the best time filming it. It was so much fun,” the actress squealed.

The podcast description reveals it will discuss “fashion, artists, actors, actresses, music and everything else”.

In the 26-minute debut episode, the duo spoke to a Los Angeles tattoo artist called Dahlia Moth about her life.
