Can you do Instagram Wrapped on Android?

Sadly, there isn’t a way to do the Instagram Wrapped 2023 trend on Android. The app isn’t on the Google Play Store right now.

Only iOS users can take part in the viral trend by downloading Wrapped for Instagram for free on the Apple App Store.

The creator hasn’t announced any plans to bring it to Android yet, but keep your eyes peeled in case it does appear.

Android users are feeling really left out, with one person writing on TikTok: “Why does it only work for iPhone.”

“So annoying that this isn’t on Android yet,” said another.

Wrapped for Instagram 2023 explained

Wrapped for Instagram, also known as IGWrapped, is a third-party app that compiles statistics about your account in 2023.

The tool isn’t associated with Instagram in any way, but uses your login details to create a highlight reel about your profile.

It tells you six different things including how many hours you’ve spent on Instagram, your top friends and how many users blocked you.

Plus, find out your male/female follower ratio, how many users took screenshots of your posts and who viewed your profile the most.

All of this information is compiled into six different cards which can be saved to your camera roll and uploaded to social media.

Concerns over IGWrapped’s safety

Some are concerned over the safety of IGWrapped, with many scared the third-party app will steal their data.

Someone wrote on Twitter: “Guys don’t do Instagram wrapped they’re gonna steal all ur info.”

“Don’t get Instagram Wrapped, it’s fake. Change your password,” said another.

Others are claiming the site is ‘fixed’ and the statistics about your account change every time you create a new reel.

However, this is merely speculation and to public knowledge, no issues have arisen with Wrapped for Instagram.

The app claims to provide “in-depth data” about your Instagram account with “exclusive access to analytics”.
