The Euphoria and the Riverdale actresses were also joined by their respective co-stars Maude Apatow andCamila Mendes among others on the red carpet. While the two Hollywood beauties were also smiles to each other on the red carpet of the recent event, fans noticed something that many thought suggested that there was a beef between them.
Lili Reinhart and Sydney Sweeney’s viral TikTok clip
Both Lili and Sydney are two of this generation’s most famous actresses. Hence it’s no wonder that they make it on the guest list of many high-profile fashion events. Both the women were recently in Venice, Italy. They both attended the Giorgio Armani cocktail party that took place in Venice on Friday, September 1.
Sydney stunned in a black cutout fishtail dress that showed her midriff. Her stunning dress also had a rose design on the neck. Lili on the other hand, opted for a black plunging neck dress that had ruffle designs on the chest. The TikTok clip that has many fans suspecting a beef between the two sees Sydney excitedly hugging Lili.
Both women are all smiles as an excited Sydney approaches Lili and hugs her. The Riverdale actress is standing beside her co-star Camila Mendes while You actor Lukas Gage also stands on the far right. The moment Sydney and Lili break their hug, Lili who was all smiles just a second ago is seen staring at Sydney’s dress and look. Her smile disappears as the Chemical Hearts actress’ face. Some TikTok videos also indicate that Lukas is looking over to look at Lili’s reaction right after hugging Sydney.
Lili and Sydney’s beef rumors spread online
Many fans were quick to speculate that there might be some beef between them. Fans interpreted Lily’s reaction in their own ways. Some thought she was giving Sydney the side eye.
Another fan interpreted Lili’s reaction insinuating that she did not get a good vibe from Syndey. They posted the video of the actresses writing, “POV: You meet the “nice” person everyone likes but something feels off about them.”
One fan stitched their reaction to the video saying, “I need to know the beef right now.”
However, a few fans thought otherwise. One fan noted how Lili had the same expression even when Sydney was not around and she was with other actresses on the carpet. “I think it’s safe to say that, that’s just Lily’s resting face,” they said.
