Unlike the yearly Wrapped which highlights your favorites in music, there is an AI bot that ruthlessly judges your listening habits to show you just “how bad” your Spotify is. You must know it takes a lot of courage to receive a blunt opinion about your “awful taste in music”. Still, users are excited to give it a shot.

How to see ‘How Bad is Your Spotify?’
Spotify users can find out how bad their streaming habit is on a website called The Pudding. Follow the below steps:
- Tap Find Out under ‘How Bad Is Your Streaming Music?’ on the home page.
- Select Log in with Spotify.
- Answer the series of questions posed by the bot as it makes fun of your taste in music.
- Wait for the website to generate the results once you’ve answered all the questions.
Your final report isn’t shared on any other platform and is only used for your reference.
Users have noted that the website is a sassier version of Spotify Wrapped as it shows results that judge you for the tracks you have listened to the most and artists you stan to an “uncomfortable extent.” In addition to that, the bot also tells you “how basic you are.”
How AI bot judges your taste in music
The Pudding website claims the AI bot is “trained to evaluate” your taste in music.
The note reads: “I’ve been trained on a corpus of over two million indicators of objectively good music, including Pitchfork reviews, record store recommendations, and subreddits you’ve never heard of.”
The Verge, however, notes that the bot is not as personalized as users assume it to be.
“It will ask everyone the same boilerplate questions in a snarky tone,” but it mercilessly judges your taste in music unlike Wrapped, which gives you some much-needed validation at the end of each year.
