Flight attendant Kristina Raspopova who is among the ten people reported dead in the plane crash that apparently killed Yevgeny Prigozhin revealed some surprising details to her family about her last flight.
Russia’s private military company Wagner Group’s head Yevgeny Prigozhin is reported dead along with ten others in a private plane crash. Among those on board was Wagner commander Dmitry Utkin and the jet’s only flight attendant Kristina Raspopova. Hours before boarding her last doomed flight, the air hostess shared “unexpected repairs” regarding the plane with her family.
Kristina Raspopova’s last photo before boarding doomed plane
The Daily Star reports that Kristina posted a photo from the airport before boarding the plane. She also posted another photo showing the inside of Yevgeny Prighozin’s jet. The pictures showed two glasses of drinks placed ahead of a bouquet of fresh flowers.
While many are searching for Kristina Raspopova’s Instagram now, her account seems to have been deleted from the platform.
She reportedly also contacted her family when there was a delay in the flight’s take off. She reportedly told them the plane was undergoing “unexpected repairs.”
Flight attendant told family of unexplained repairs that caused a delay
The 39-year-old flight attendant’s family opened up about their last conversation with her before she boarded the doomed plane that took her life.
As per Daily Star, a relative of Kristina told VChK-OGPU Telegram channel that she had contacted her family about an “unexplained hold up” to the flight before take off.
She told her relative that the plane was being “repaired” last minute before the takeoff. The relative further told the channel “She said that she was in Moscow, she was going to fly out, today or tomorrow.”
The relative further stated that Kristina said that the flight was “under maintenance” and getting “urgent repairs.”
“The aircraft was under maintenance or some urgent repairs. They were waiting for the flight. Some kind of maintenance, well nothing special,” they reportedly said.
Other victims of plane crash
Among the ten people onboard seven were passengers and three crew members. The passengers included Prighozin, Sergey Propustin, Dmitry Utkin, Valeriy Chekalov, Nikolay Matuseev, Evgeniy Makaryan, and Aleksandr Totmin. The three crew members were Commander Aleksei Levshin, co-pilot Rustam Karimov, and Kristina.
The ten people’s charred human remains were derived away from the crash site in the Russian GAZelle at 4:30 a.m. and taken away for examination to a morgue in Tver.
The Wednesday, August 23 crash took place in the Tver region located to the northwest of Moscow.
