A video of Joe Rogan claiming a German bunker has just been discovered at the Bermuda Triangle has gone viral on TikTok.

He is sitting down with Elon Musk filming a podcast in the clip which has caught everyone’s attention – but it’s not actually real.

German bunker in Bermuda Triangle

“This is so f***ng scary. A few hours ago in the Bermuda Triangle, an advanced German bunker from World War 2 has been discovered,” the podcaster says in the viral video, to which Musk replies: “Yeah, yeah, I heard of it.”

He claims that the bunker houses documents about a moon station in 1939 that confirmed contact with extraterrestrials before saying this raises questions about secret space projects before the official space age.

Joe Rogan adds that nobody knows how the Germans built in this depth and why they needed the bunker and says the “scariest thing” is that one of them took a picture which shows it’s “way too expensive just for a prank or something”.

The clip ends with a spiel about aliens, UFOs and an old-looking pirate ship which have supposedly heightened scientists’ interest in the Bermuda Triangle.

Viral Joe Rogan clip is AI generated

The clip isn’t actually from a real Joe Rogan podcast. He has sat down with the Tesla founder a number of times, but this one is a phony.

Someone has taken clips from their previous podcasts and used an artificial intelligence generator to add fake words in their voices.

If you look closely, you can see that their mouths don’t match up with the talking – and there are a few obvious errors too.

As well as grammatical mistakes, the map that pops up on screen shows the Mediterranean, not the Bermuda Triangle.

While many were fooled by the fake video, others knew it was AI straight away.

One person commented: “AI needs more work. Nice try.”

“This is so fake,” said another.

A third person added: “Lol, pretty sure the Bermuda Triangle isn’t in the Mediterranean.”

“Badly edited,” someone else wrote.

Another agreed: “AI fake, terrible effort on all fronts.”
