A video of a man picking up a bottle of Heinz ‘clear ketchup’ in a store has gone viral and it’s making everyone feel sick.
The clip was shared on TikTok in early November and has had a staggering 24 million views – but thankfully it’s a prank.

Heinz Clear Ketchup TikTok prank
“You won’t believe what I found in the shops today. That’s right, it’s clear ketchup,” the TikTok user called UKSnackAttack says.
He then picks up a bottle of Heinz Ketchup but instead of containing the usual red sauce, it’s full of a clear liquid instead.
“All of the tasty tomato flavor and none of that ugly red color,” he says convincingly as he squeezes it out of the bottle.
The bottle even has a grey tomato on it instead of a red one to make the video seem realistic, but it’s all fake.
“Who else can’t stop eating the clear ketchup?!” he wrote in the caption before confirming: “Shame it’s a snackfish (catfish) and not real!”
Clear ketchup fools people on TikTok
The viral video has fooled lots of social media users, with one person asking: “What is ACTUALLY in it?”
“I ain’t eating that,” said another.
A third person added: “Looks like hand sanitizer!”
“We want to try this,” someone else wrote.
However, others knew it was a prank, with someone sarcastically saying: “Yeah only one bottle on the shelf. Looks very real.”
“You emptied a ketchup bottle, filled it with something and went beck to the store with it,” commented another.
‘Your favourite clickbait snack page’
UKSnackAttack has got more than 136,000 followers and the bio says: “Your favourite clickbait snack page.”
They share all kinds of wild food pranks, from Milkybar Pringles to Pumpkin Spice Coca-Cola and Chocolate Ketchup.
However, the account also posts more believable tricks too, like Cookies and Cream Nutella and a McDonald’s Biscoff Pie which could easily be real.
In between all the pranks, UKSnackAttack shares real UK food releases too – so it’s impossible to work out what’s actually real!
