Teyana and Shumpert are proud parents to two daughters., Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose Shumpert.
Four of them together have been stealing the spotlight ever since they walked the red carpets together. In fact, they even modeled for Kim Kardashian‘s Skims‘ Cozy Collection. At the same time, they were on the cover of Ebony Magazine.
While singer Teyana and NBA player Iman are no strangers to fame, it looks like their two children are also learning the ins and outs of being famous at a very young age.
A look at their relationship
Teyana and Iman first met each other in 2013 but did not start dating as the singer had been in a relationship. The two continued to keep in touch and years later, when they both were single, decided to give the relationship a chance.
Shortly after, in 2014, they went Instagram official. As the couple became public with their romance, they did not hesitate to make red-carpet appearances. In 2015, they announced that they were expecting their first child, and shortly after, they got engaged.
In December 2015, they welcomed their first daughter, and months later, in September 2016, they revealed they secretly got married. They continued to grow as a family and welcomed their second daughter in 2020. With their personal and professional life getting better and busier, the pair to call it quits in 2023.
The pair confirmed their split
On August 17, Teyana confirmed her split while assuring fans that everything was fine between the two. She also dismissed any rumors about infidelity.
Sharing a picture of them together, she said: “We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10 years together, 7 years married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.”
The pair continues to work together despite their separation and called for rumors to be put to an end.
