Snapchat has just launched its annual recap feature which gives you a highlight reel of 2023’s best moments – and it’s really easy to see.

Snapchat Recap 2023 arrives
Your Snapchat Recap is a “collection of Snaps you’ve saved to Memories from the past year,” the platform explains.
The photos and videos have been specially categorized to highlight the things you’ve done, the places you’ve gone, and the friends you’ve seen.
Each clip is given a descriptive caption, such as “surrounded by love,” “out and about” and “felt cute, might delete”.
You will only receive a personalised recap reel if you used Snapchat a lot in 2023 and have saved enough Snaps.
How to see your Snapchat Recap
- Open the Snapchat app
- Go to the camera screen
- Swipe up
- View your Snapchat Recap
Your Snapchat Recap is only available for a limited time – so be quick! Dismissing or hiding your Story will remove it for good.
Snapchat reveals 2023 trends
Alongside the recap, the platform has also compiled some statistics about Snapchat over the past year.
