Following the unimaginable success of the Cry Baby perfume milk, Melanie Martinez has launched her second line of fragrance, Portals Parfums, but fans think it is ‘ridiculously priced’, so they can’t afford it.
Melanie’s studio album, Portals, was released in March 2023 and the singer has a website dedicated to the merch inspired by the third installment. The latest fragrance is the new addition to the list and despite qualms about its cost, some fans are eager to pre-order it.

Melanie Martinez’s Portals Perfume price and pre-order details
A 60 ml bottle of the new fragrance named after her album, Portals Parfums, is available for the price of $275. You can pre-order it on the official shopping site created for the new line of perfume.
The structure of the perfume bottle is nothing like we’ve ever seen before and it is designed to “reflect one of the four classical elements.” Its constituents are supposedly vegan and cruelty-free. The caption under a promo video posted to the singer’s TikTok describes the perfume’s fragrance as: “Water of intuition, Fiery passion, Air of clarity, and Earthy abundance are now yours.”
The main sculpture is one foot tall and opens to reveal four “wholly transportive compositions”, that’ll instantly take you to “vivid worlds” with a single spray.
The centerpiece resembles the eerie creature seen on the cover of her album along with the four 15 ml vials.
The product is ready to pre-order, but the shipping will not begin until late November. Also due to high demand, you can only buy two units of Portals Parfum at once.
It’s ‘too expensive’ for fans to afford
Fans are gaga over Portals Parfum’s design and the success of Melanie’s first fragrance line makes for enough reason to try the new product. But most of them have just one thing to say about it – it is “overpriced” for them to afford.
“It’s definitely overpriced but considering the demand for Cry Baby perfume they’ll probably get away with it,” said one fan.
Another user said: “This is actually insane why is it more expensive than Beyonce? Bahahaha.”
“Def think it’s expensive cause of the sculpture element and it’s ethically sourced which is rare. I bought it ’cause it is limited edition for the set,” a third fan wrote.
One commented: “Can I buy just one bottle? It’s ridiculously priced. I want it badly though.”
