Apple’s 2023 range of iPhones is out and some early buyers are complaining that Snapchat is not working properly on their new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The app apparently has a bug.

The new phones from Apple were released on Friday, September 22. Along with the iPhone 15 range the technology company has also released a new set of Apple watches. However, those who got their hands on the new range of iPhone 15s right after the release are complaining that Snapchat isn’t working properly for their iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.

iPhone 15 pro max users face issue with Snapchat

Over the past day, several complaints from those who purchased phones from the iPhone 15 series have surfaced on Twitter. A majority of these complaints say that Snapchat is bugging on the new Apple mobiles. Most users complained about Snapchat’s camera and layout being off the mark on their new iPhones.

“What a mess with the new iPhone Launch. I have hardly been able to use Snapchat on my 15 Pro Max as the layout is way off,” one annoyed user said tagging Snapchat support.

Another person detailed the problem stating, that a quarter of their phone screen on the bottom is turning black. This includes stories and memories. The user noted how they struggled to access any options on the screen as they appeared too small.

A third user detailed this further stating there is a “black bar on the bottom, no wide-angle option, the front camera is zoomed in and Night Mode Option is not there also the app layout is wack.”

A couple more users pointed out how the send snap or send picture option is almost impossible to click sometimes.

Finally some users also pointed out that Snapchat’s camera is looking off.

“Snapchat’s camera looks completely off I compared it to my old phone and they’re capturing completely different angles,” a person commented.

Snapchat is urging users to DM them

Snapchat has replied to most users complaining about the issue on the iPhone 15 range of phones. The social media company has urged most people to DM them on their Snapchat Support channel on Twitter.

At the moment, the company has not announced whether or not they have found an overall fix to the problem that iPhone 15 users are facing. However, it is common for issues like these to pop up on the app. They usually get fixed soon.

iPhone 15 range has a much more powerful camera

The new iPhone has four models. There’s iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, this time around there is no iPhone 15 Mini, like iPhone 13 and 14.

Apple has introduced major camera upgrades on its new range of phones. The main cameras on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are 48MP. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max also have a 48MP main camera but they also have 24mm, 28mm, and 35mm focal lengths options.

The iPhone 15 Pro comes with a 3x zoom lens, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 5x zoom lens.
