Taryn Manning has addressed her viral Instagram rant video in which she divulged intimate details about her alleged affair.

The Orange Is The New Black (OITNB) star posted a now-deleted rant over the weekend, detailing her sexual relations with a married man. Fans were concerned about her health due to her apparent slurring of words, but they were also left in disbelief by the graphic descriptions.
Manning, who portrayed OITNB’s Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett, has posted a statement explaining the situation.

The Hustle & Flow actress posted a lengthy apology message on August 15, captioned: “Video update…”
“Over the past few days, I’ve had some time to reflect on the situation I’ve been dealing with,” Manning wrote. “I was deeply hurt and handled things on a public platform when I should’ve just dealt with them quietly with the support of my close friends and family.”
Taryn admitted that she considered lying about the video, but wanted to stay true to herself.
“I started a relationship with somebody who was married and told me he would leave his wife. In the end, I found out that wasn’t possible,” Manning continued. “I pride myself on being an ethical and kind person. I know what I did was wrong, but the heart makes you do crazy things sometimes.”
“I am sorry for exposing my situation; I am not sorry for how I love,” she added.
The actress concluded by requesting privacy so she can “mend her heart.”
In the original video shared last weekend, Manning shared explicit details about her physical relationship with the unidentified married man.
“The man that I’ve been messing with is a married man and every night, well for about three nights in a row – or maybe there’s even a night in between – I was licking his butthole,” she explained.
Appearing to slur her words, the singer revealed she “was so in love” but “couldn’t stand” his wife, who she alleges was threatening her with a restraining order.
She used to date Anne Cline
Manning’s only publically known relationship was with Anne Cline, a musician and singer from South Georgia.
The couple became engaged in June 2021 after Cline popped the question during her performance at a Florida restaurant. Taryn called it “the easiest ‘yes’ I ever said,” but the engagement ended just two months later.
Sources close to Manning told People that the actress ended things because it was “not the right relationship for her.” She reportedly moved on to a new romance but the identity of the partner is unknown.
