TikTok star VonViddy whose real name was Joe Muchlinski has died his sister revealed in a recent video. The star’s sudden death broke fans’ hearts after his last eerie ‘goodbye’ video on the platform.
VonViddy was best known for his comedic videos. However, the TikTok star also had musical talents. Thanks to his talents he had amassed 167.8K followers on the platform. He was also a celebrity on Instagram with 23.5K followers. While the creator always had a happy personality in his videos, his sister recently revealed that he had been fighting mental illness for a long time. She also announced VonViddy’s death. The creator’s fans are heartbroken now.

TikTok star VonViddy’s sister announces his death
It was Von’s sister who runs the TikTok page by the name Martha Merced who announced his death. Martha Muchlinski hopped on her TikTok on Monday, August 21 to confirm that her brother had died. She made the video after many went into a panic after watching his last video which was seemingly a suicide note.
“I do want to confirm for his fans that he did lose his long battle with mental illness and he did take his own life,” she said. “Joe fought a long and really terrible battle with his mental illness,” Martha stated that she wanted to provide closure for VonViddy’s fans.
Her heartbreaking caption read, “Joe was my first word. He was my older brother, my only sibling, and this is one of the worst days of my life. I know folks have been concerned since his (Vonviddy’s) last video and deserve some closure.”
VonViddy’s last video before death was seemingly a suicide note
Joe posted a video on his TikTok page VonViddy as well on his Instagram page merely hours before the news of his death broke.
His last video is heartbreaking and left many fans worried sick for him. The video was posted on his TikTok the same day when the news of his death broke. The influencer goes on to talk about how he wants his fans to remember him.
“I want to be remembered as a creator of videos that made people laugh, and a creator of music. I also want to be remembered as a camp counselor who helped kids to make happy memories” he says as his mouth quivers.
He goes on to reveal that he has also been an addict and alcoholic. He revealed that he “put his family through hell.” Joe goes on to thank his fans saying “you guys mean the world to me.”
The creator also reflects on his life saying “All in all I’ve had a terrific life. I’ve got to visit the other side of the world and I’ve made tons of friends from all walks of life.”
His heartbreaking and eerie last words are “I have nothing to complain about and I have nothing but peace and love for all of you.”
Fans mourn the TikTok star
“This is unnerving and upsetting seeing someone’s goodbye message and last time on earth. RIP” one fan expressed.
“Joe was one of the first people I followed in TikTok…2 years ago. His videos made me laugh so much…I hope he knew that…I am so sad and sorry” another person said.
“Rest in genuine peace, Joe. You fought a long, hard battle and you’ve earned your rest. Those of us here will remember you and miss you,” a third fan said.
“I’m so sorry, you’re a wonderful person and I’m so sad you’re gone,” a fourth fan wrote.
A few who did not know that Joe had already passed away urged him to not do anything drastic. “Your message seems like a goodbye, idk what’s going on man I hope it’s not,” one panicked fan said.
“RIP VonViddy (tiktok) It’s so sad to hear. The world didn’t know he was struggling until it was too late,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
