The trend has gone viral on TikTok this month, where internet users are learning a lot more about their partners.

Most of us see our significant others every day, but don’t often ask those deep and meaningful questions we really want to know.

Things like asking what their favorite thing about you is or what they love about you often seems a bit corny.

So, we don’t ask at all – but of course we’d like to know. That’s where the 12 question trend comes in very handy!

Try the trend on your ex

Another version of the trend is going viral that involves asking the questions to your ex – but it’s not for the faint hearted.

One person wrote on Twitter: “12 questions with your ex on TikTok is crazy.”

“Did the 12 questions trend with my ex and I can say that we both met at the wrong time,” said another.

A third person added: “Can’t believe people are really doing this with their exes.”
