On 21 September 2023, Brandon Awadis aka Brawadis revealed he had split up with his girlfriend Jasmine. He explained that it “just wasn’t meant to be” and that they won’t be in any more videos together.
Brandon shared an Instagram story that featured a thumbnail of him and his former partner with a broken heart emjoi and the words ‘we broke up.’ On his YouTube channel, where he has 6.39m followers, Brandon also uploaded a video titled: ‘we broke up.’
Who is Brandon Awadis?
Brandon Awadis, also known on social media as Brawadis, is a famous YouTuber, influencer, and basketball fan who was born in San Diego on June 23, 1995.
According to various online profiles, he is famous for uploading reactions, pranks, challenges, and vlogs, amassing millions of followers in the process. Awadis is reportedly an aspiring NBA analyst, and is an avid supporter of the NBA team the Phoenix Suns, and writes for the sports website VAVEL.
His parents, who have appeared in his videos, are known as Mama Rug and Papa Rug. He is also the brother of fellow YouTuber FaZe Rug, who has featured in several of his videos.
Awadis has 1.8m followers on Instagram and 2.3m followers on TikTok.
Brandon Awadis aka Brawadis announces break up with girlfriend Jasmine in latest YouTube video
The YouTuber previously dated Jackie Figueroa from 2015 until 2017. Brandon Awadis aka Brawadis started dating girlfriend Jasmine in 2022, and even introduced her to his parents in a video posted in March 2023.
However, the couple are no longer together as Awadis has uploaded a new YouTube video announcing their split.
Brad confirmed the break up and they were going their separate ways and won’t be in any more videos together.
He thanked fans and said he owed it to them to let them know the relationship didn’t work out.
“It just wasn’t meant to be”, he added. However, he didn’t go into detail about why the relationship broke down and asked for privacy.

Fans offer support to the YouTuber following the break up
Brandon’s video was flooded with comments wishing him the best following the break up.
‘We are here for you Brandon. I think we can all see your pov and u understand. You do not owe us anything. You’ve made it here not only because of your supporters but bc of also your dedication and hard work remember that,’ one person said.
‘We’re here for you bro, don’t rush to get another one, take the time you need and you’ll find the one soon. Love you brother,’ another added.
‘Regardless of everything we still love you brother, head up it’s not the end,’ a third said.
Jasmine was in a number of Brand Awadis’ videos over recent months, including one on 6 September where he read her Instagram DMs.
