Omer Sastim aka Master Oogway quits YouTube ‘forever’

Omer Sastim also known as ‘Master Oogway’ is famous for making funny videos using scenes from the Kung Fu Panda movies. He uses clips of the movie character Master Oogway from the franchise and inserts his own hilarious and raunchy dialogues leaving fans in splits.

The YouTuber recently took to the platform and announced he was quitting the platform “permanently.” He claimed the streaming giant had recently demonetized all of his videos. He further said they reportedly told him his channel “remains ineligible for YPP (YouTube Partner Program).” The message from YouTube apparently says the creator’s videos mainly draw from other sources and not entirely his original work.

He called out the company saying: “Is this truly how you reward someone who spent three years on your platform creating videos.” Omer also called out the video-sharing platform for being biased and for taking away his “main source of income.”

In a tweet, he said he will be deleting all his channels and won’t be coming back to the platform.

Creator questions if post about Palestine caused the demonetization

In another tweet, Omer also questioned if his channel was demonetized because of one of his recent videos about Palestine. Last week the creator posted an emotional video titled: “A friend of mine is stuck in Gaza, and his mother got killed by an airstrike.”

“I made a video about Palestine… then a couple days later I got demonetized,” the YouTuber said in his tweet speculating the reason behind his demonetization and exclusion from the YouTube Partner Program. In a video accompanying the tweet, the 25-year-old creator stated he has been making the same type of content for three years and never faced any issues with it until his Palestine video.

However, as it stands YouTube has clarified, via Omer, the result came from him using Dreamworks material.

Multiple TikTok videos narrate the story of Daniel Cruz the Explorer discovering the last living Dodo, and it sounds just like a fictional plot ripped straight out of a television show or movie.

The story goes, that Daniel was on an exploration when he found an old railroad track and decided to follow it.

He walked along the track for half an hour and had almost given up when he saw a warehouse in the distance. As he neared the building he came across a sign that read: “Property of the United States government. No trespassing.”

However, Daniel still chose to enter the property by ignoring the warning sign and kept walking until he stood before an “old and rusty” door. It opened to a badly lit room and the place looked abandoned.

When he walked down the hallway he stumbled into another room and the text on its door read: “Birds inside. Keep the door closed.” But, Daniel being the adventurous man that he was, entered the room to witness the unimaginable.

The video will leave you disappointed

Daniel’s curiosity got the best of him and he ended up opening the door that wasn’t supposed to be unlocked. He then entered the room to see a “real-life dodo bird” that was “standing in front of him.”

He couldn’t believe his eyes and couldn’t stop wondering why the government allegedly kept the existence of the bird a secret, so he decided to get it on camera.

Now, we think it’s important for you to know that there are different versions of the same story on TikTok but they all conclude similarly.

The viral video ends by claiming Daniel released the pictures and videos of the last dodo on the Internet and they went viral quickly. Although there’s no truth to it, the voiceover urges viewers to share the link to the original video followed by a few more instructions, which falsely claim to show you the images of the real bird.

Several users who watched the video until the end in the hopes of seeing the dodo were only disappointed because the instructions that came along with it didn’t produce the result it promised.

Scientists on bringing the extinct bird back to life

By overcoming numerous hurdles, scientists think bringing dodo back to life may not be entirely impossible.

It starts with studying the genetic composition of the bird to understand what made the dodo act like a dodo.

Beth Shapiro from the Genomics Institute at the University of California, Santa Cruz, told BBC Wildlife:

“One would also need to figure out how to make those genetic changes, which are surely more than a few, in the types of cells that are destined to become a living animal.”

In addition to the technicalities of biology, scientists also need to “solve all of the normal problems associated with captive breeding and husbandry of a species that no longer exists.”

Moreover, without any source taking accountability for the sighting, you can’t blame the people who think it is a hoax.

Bigfoot is mostly found in fiction and fantasy, but lately, social media users have started to take immense interest in it thanks to unverified visuals like the one we are discussing today.

Presenting the reasons to believe the footage is real, one user explained: “Arm length and gait. Bending legs 75 degrees compared to our 35-degree bend at knees.”

“If it’s a hoax, then someone did a wonderful job at it because other than the P/G film, it’s the most realistic video of sasquatch I’ve seen,” said another.

A third user said: “We don’t have men looking like that here on Earth. That’s pure muscle height and super strength.”

“Closest to a real Bigfoot I’ve ever seen. It’s phenomenal,” read another comment.

Video of Sasquatch in Colorado is mind-blowing

Another alleged Bigfoot sighting that occurred a couple of weeks ago in remote Colorado caught a lot of attention.

The video believed to be shot from a running train sees an unidentified creature resembling a Sasquatch walking in the desert and settling in a spot a few steps later.

The unverified clip raised questions about the claims it makes about Bigfoot. A lot of people, however, were convinced it was a man in a costume ahead of Halloween, pulling a prank on the train passengers.

Still, those who believe in the legend of Bigfoot were perplexed by the “real” sighting of the mythological creature.

Fans aren’t bothered if the jibbitz spotted at the Crocs store aren’t the official merch, they want to buy them regardless of the label.

Elizabeth Haysom and Jens Soering from Netflix’s Till Murder Do Us Part

Netflix documentary TV series titled Till Murder Do Us Part: Soering vs. Haysom, follows the 1985 conviction of Jens Soering as he is charged with the murders of his then girlfriend’s parents.

Soering was 18 years old at the time, while his partner Hayson was 20 years old. The pair fled to England after the deaths despite not being considered suspects at first until they were arrested in 1986 for fraud and using false papers.

Jens Soering confessed to the double murder, admitting that he killed his partner’s parents while she waited for him at a hotel. However, he later swapped his story and claimed that he was the one waiting.

Elizabeth Haysom and Jens Soering were found guilty of two counts of accessory to murder and murder respectively after the deaths of the former’s parents in 1985.

The pair were paroled in November 2019, but not pardoned.

Where is Jens Soering now?

Jens Soering went on to reverse his account of events, to allege that his partner committed the murders and it was actually him who was waiting at a hotel. He pleaded non-guilty but was found guilty.

Soering served his sentence at the Buckingham Correctional Center in Dillwyn, Virginia.

During his sentence, he wrote several books including his 1995 autobiography Mortal Thoughts, in which he continued to argue that he did not commit the two murders.

He also converted from Buddhism to Catholicism in prison and therefore wrote about religion too.

The convict unsuccessfully requested parole 14 times, before having it granted in 2019 aged 53 with a statement from the board citing his age at the time.

Without pardon, Soering was immediately deported to Germany after his parole, hailing his return home on December 17 as the “best day of my life”, as per Daily Mail reports.

Despite being found guilty and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences, Jens Soering continues to protest his innocence.

Since his release, Jens Soering has been somewhat in the public eye and has been directly interviewed in the new Netflix series Till Murder Do Us Part: Soering vs. Haysom.

Today, in 2023, the German still proclaims his innocence and recently wanted to turn his imprisonment into a motivational speech that focus on resilience, as per The Scotsman reports.

Soering was pictured during a press conference after arriving in Germany following his extradition from the US after receiving a partial pardon, on December 17, 2019, at the airport in Frankfurt am Main, western Germany.

Where is Elizabeth Haysom now?

While Soering has been in the public eye since his release, Haysom has stayed out of the spotlight. 

Following Elizabeth Haysom’s release and being deported back to Canada in 2020, there has been no further information made publicly available.

At Soering’s trial, she testified that she had manipulated her boyfriend into committing the killings because her parents wanted her to end the relationship.

20-year-old Haysom pleaded guilty to two counts of accessory before the fact to murder in 1987.

Elizabeth Haysom was released from prison to the custody of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and was then deported to her home country of Canada in 2020 after not being pardoned.

Being granted parole in 2019, she had served 32 years of her 90-year sentence at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women in Troy, Virginia.

Maya Kowalski has previously taken the stand in court during her family’s civil trial against Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in Florida.

However, the Kowalski family lawyer Gregory Anderson told the media the teen was not present for testimony of Dr. Sally Smith, the child abuse pediatrician who investigated her case due to her health.

The haunting case culminated in Maya Kowalski’s mother’s suicide and was featured in a Netflix documentary titled Take Care of Maya.

In a saga chronicled in the hit documentary, Kowalski’s mother admitted her then-10-year-old daughter to the hospital in 2015. She was diagnosed with a neuropathic disorder and was treated with ketamine.

Beata Kowalski reportedly later returned to the hospital telling doctors that her daughter required more ketamine treatments to ease her symptoms.

Skeptical about Beata Kowalski’s demands, Florida child welfare authorities were alerted by staff, who removed Maya from her parents’ care and made her a medical ward of the state.

After being barred from seeing her daughter for more than 80 days and facing child abuse allegations, Beata Kowalski sadly took her own life.

Alleging that the hospital wrongfully committed Maya and cruelly separated her from her mother, the Kowalski family is suing the facility for $220 million, as per New York Post reports.

Maya Kowalski pictured partying instead of attending court

Maya Kowalski was pictured socializing just days after her attorneys said she was in too much pain to appear at the trial.

On Friday, October 27, her lawyer told reporters that the emotional impact of the trial on Maya Kowalski had seen her develop lesions relating to her Complex Regional Pain Syndrome diagnosis, reports Court TV.

The pain had reportedly become so severe, that Kowalski was unable to attend the trial for several days.

However, lawyers for Johns Hopkins All Medical Center had alleged social media pictures appearing to show Kowalski was well enough to socialize with several friends. They argued on Tuesday the shots contradicted her claims of intense pain.

Take Care of Maya teen is facing backlash

Lawyers for the defense introduced photos into evidence, some taken from Instagram, reportedly showing Maya Kowalski attending a Halloween party and a homecoming event.

The teen can be in the Halloween picture wearing a two-piece outfit while smiling. In another photograph, she is sporting a dress while riding in a limousine.

Defense attorney Ethen Shapiro said in reference to the pictures that the court had been told that since Kowalski’s hospitalization, she has been unable to live a normal teenager’s life.

While speaking about the images Shapiro said to the judge: “This is the life of Maya Kowalski today. We did not aggravate a preexisting condition. She’s at her prom, she’s out in heels, has friends – it’s in complete contradiction to her testimony.”

Kowalski’s attorneys argued the photos were inadmissible, but the judge did admit several into evidence.

The trial continues.

The viral incident took place outside of musician Cody Tate’s home. He was the one who put the video on his Instagram and it has been making rounds on all platforms since then.

The musician, who is a member of the Whiskey Myers band, wrote, “And this is why you can’t trust people. If you know who it is share. I figured it would happen but not adults. Now all the kids after these people can’t have any candy.”

In a post before sharing the viral video, the musician showed a sign he had put on his door that said, “Please take 1.” However, the family seemed to disregard it.

The Daily Mail reports that, hours after the incident, the musician posted another video showing his neighbor stopping by and putting candies into the empty bowl for the kids who arrived later.

The Fans First 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Crewneck is sold at the price of $64.89 excluding shipping and taxes. As exciting as it is, fans feel the merch is expensive and they cannot afford it.

The new album-themed sweatshirts are available in limited quantity for a short period – until November 8, 2023 at 3 PM EST or while supplies act.

A look at the hidden room

On October 23, a TikTok user who goes by the username @bigbrah1 posted a video of a hidden room that she found at her house. The 20-second clip shows the user opening the door and entering a room that has walls painted in different colors, like pink, green, and white.

At first glance, one would think that the room was meant for children to play as it consisted of some butterfly drawings, hand and leg prints, and many more. At the same time, it also had some paintings that looked like were drawn by children.

However, what made the room eerie was the wording “Love Shack” that was written on the wall. While there was no explanation as to why these words were there, the internet was quick to express their thoughts on it.

Users did not hold back in their comments as many pointed out how eerie and scary the room looked. One user wrote: “Absolute weirdest vibes.. love shack? The feet?” Another added: “It was either a fun little hideout or the creepiest thing ever.”

“Bad bad vibes,” read one more comment. “That scary,” said another. “Move…,” suggested another. However, some people thought that the room was completely normal with one writing: “The door locks from the inside not he outside so that’s totally normal looks like a teenage gun hideout.”

“If the last family had it a while it was probably a storage room turned kids play area and the kids grew up there and decorated as teens,” said one more.

In an update, the user pointed out that the hidden room was located in the basement bathroom. Now, her family had converted it into a storage room after freshly painting it.

Experts say it could be a mating call

Experts are certain that the exchange between the Lynx was a mating call, which is common in the breeding season.

Luke Hunter, chief conservation officer for Panthera, the global wild cat conservation organization told Live Science:

“Canada lynx, due to their harsh winters, are highly seasonal breeders, and this is right at the end of their usual breeding period.”

He further added: “This is an amazing vocalization I’ve never heard from Canada Lynx. But it’s basically the same thing (as in house cats) — this sort of very screechy vocalization that shows stress and is designed to intimidate the other animal.”

On October 16, 2023, the Walt Disney Company celebrated its 100th anniversary.

As part of the celebrations honoring 10 decades of magical storytelling, Disney has teamed up with McDonald’s to offer Happy Meal Toys.

Each McDonald’s Happy Meal includes two toys from the collection of 60 characters from Disney, Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel.

Characters range from Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse all the way to Star from Disney’s newest animated movie titled Wish.

Children can also download coloring and activity sheets featuring Disney characters and play interactive games with their Disney100 Happy Meal toy on a phone or tablet.

Each McDonald’s Happy Meal has a choice of hamburger, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, or six-piece Chicken McNuggets with kids’ fries or apples as a side, as well as a drink.

McDonald’s Disney100 Happy Meal toys are reportedly available at participating McDonald’s for a limited time (while supplies last) – more details can be found on the official Happy Meal website page.

Tips to get your hands on McDonald’s Disney100 toys

The collection of figurines will reportedly be available to collect from October 31 – December 4.

So, customers getting involved in the collection might want to be tactical about when you are going to treat yourself to a McDonald’s meal if you are planning on building up the entire range of Disney 100 toys.

A fan sharing some advice on Twitter suggested that the toys come in waves: “Each location will get random boxes of them and have to sell all in the boxes before the next ones come.”

This means that only six different characters may be available per McDonald’s restaurant.

McDonald’s staff won’t be able to open the boxes and help customers know which characters are inside.

However, the way you can check to try and collect all characters is by asking the staff to check the bottom of the boxes.

TikTok creator and Disney fan @Discupcakes will be sharing the number of each box and the corresponding character – either on her TikTok page or over on Instagram.

Two Disney figurines come in each Happy Meal box. At this time, we know that box number 1 contains characters Elsa and Groot and box number 3 contains iconic characters Sully and Minnie Mouse.

How to collect the McDonald’s Disney100 Happy Meal Toys

According to TikToker @thesouthernsnack, a confidential employee sheet exists for McDonald’s workers that shows the pairings of the characters in order of the box numbers.

So, if you can find someone who works at McDonald’s and has access to the allegedly confidential sheet then you have a chance of knowing which boxes to get your hands on in order to complete your collection.

Food critic Keith Lee reviews The Real Milk and Honey in viral video

Keith Lee is a food critic who shares reviews on his popular social media channels, currently boasting over 14 million TikTok followers.

The creator recently reviewed The Real Milk and Honey, a brunch restaurant located in Main Street College Park, Atlanta, Georgia while visiting some of the city’s Black-owned restaurants.

In the viral video, that has now reached more than 20 million views on TikTok, Keith Lee reveals some strange restaurant rules.

When arriving at The Real Milk and Honey, Lee explained that his family went inside to be seated. The family were told the restaurant was closing early for “deep cleaning” — despite noticing people still inside.

Keith Lee then entered the restaurant and, when supposedly realizing that he was a well-known food critic, the staff tried to offer him a table but he declined.

While Keith Lee was yet to try any of the restaurant’s food – he explained that the staff were very polite and simply couldn’t serve his family due to the “rules” implemented at the business.

Explaining The Real Milk and Honey’s policy, Lee said: “In Atlanta, I found some places have unique rules and this was one of them.”

In the comment section, a user named @Timmona P suggested that The Real Milk and Honey “blocked their own blessing with ‘rules’.”

Axios Atlanta reports that Lee’s critique of several establishments, including The Real Milk and Honey, has ignited a larger discussion about Atlanta’s dining culture, its “unique rules” and its so-called “clubification.”

The Real Milk and Honey owner fires back at Keith Lee’s review

In response to the viral review video, the owner of The Real Milk and Honey featured in a video posted on the restaurant’s TikTok page showing him throwing shade at the food critic by suggesting he doesn’t know who Keith Lee is.

Many viewers online suggested that the clip was supposedly questioning the food-content creator’s credibility.

Viewers on social media suggested that the restaurant owners are in need of PR and media training, claiming that there was no purpose to the video and it was only making matters worse for the business.

The Real Milk and Honey issued an apology after internet drama

On October 31, the team behind The Real Milk and Honey shared an official press release regarding the entire situation and their overall dining experience.

“We extend our apologies to all as we address a recent incident that highlighted a review from a high-profile food blogger. In no way were we trying to discredit anyone,” the statement read.

The release explained that the team has “taken time to reflect on the incident and have started internal corrective actions with our team regarding communication styles.”

Guests can also now see an updated list of the restaurant’s house rules after the press release stated the previous rules were “outdated”.

The new set of house rules includes a new feature allowing those interested to get on a waitlist through the Yelp app.

The publicist is currently being dragged online for a recent post she shared on her Instagram story – onto her profile which has now been privatised.

Swifties throw backlash at Travis Kelce’s publicist Pia Malihi

Although the Instagram story post has now been deleted and Pia Malihi’s Instagram page has been made private, fans of the pop singer – known as ‘Swifies’ – were quick to reshare the upload onto social media.

Many Swifties accused the publicist of ‘shading’ Taylor Swift by using the clown emoji.

Another fan took to Twitter/X to suggest that Pia Malihi is “the worst publicist to ever live.”

@stoolpresidente also wrote: “Even if it was an accident it’s an accident a publicist can’t make.”

A user named @anotherlikemih asked why the publicist would supposedly go up against the fandom: “How are you a publicist and pick a fight with Swifties?”

Another fan argued that while the publicist’s post was “unprofessional”, Taylor Swift does not need this drama to occur when “she has a professional team of people with she pays a lot of money to deal with issues like this.”

Fans are dying at the irony as publicist Pia Malihi is in PR trouble

TikTok user and PR & Branding Strategist @toris.intel explained the situation and posed the ironic question:

“What happens when the person who is supposed to be helping you and assisting you in having good publicity, is the one that is causing a PR crisis drama, on game day?”

A Twitter/X user named @kurymichelle pointed out that this is not the first PR mistake Pia Malihi has made, suggesting that she had previously reposted a picture “exposing full phone numbers related to her PR business”.

The user also joked about the ironic nature of the situation: “The irony of Pia Malihi having a PR nightmare is just hilarious.”

Another Twitter user named @borfried joked: “You have one job.”

How Alix Earle became trapped in a hotel basement in Paris

American social media celebrity Alix Earle is known as the Internet’s “It Girl”. She boasts more than 6 million followers on TikTok. She also has 3 million Instagram followers.

Born on 16 December 2000, the star is now 22 years of age and is widely famous for flaunting her wild years of education at the University of Miami.

In her newly launched podcast ‘Hot Mess with Alix Earle’, the influencer invites followers to listen in on a weekly recap of her life revealing all the in-depth, exclusive details outside of her popular TikToks.

Episode four titled ‘Earle Girls vs Paris’ sees the podcaster recording in Paris – starting the episode sitting in front of the Eiffel Tower with her younger sister.

Ashtin Earle is currently a 19-year-old student at Tulane University in New Orleans. While studying on her year abroad in Florence, Italy, she flew out to Paris to record a podcast episode with her sister.

The siblings speak about their crazy night out partying in Paris when they ended up staying out until around 4:30/5 a.m. before Ashtin Earle ended up home before her older sister.

Alix explains she traveled back to the hotel alone and was at the reception trying to get a new room key.

Taking the elevator up to her hotel room, Alix presses a button showing the figure ‘4’ with the hope of going to the fourth floor. Instead, the influencer notices she starts traveling downwards in the elevator when she should be going upwards. Earle soon realizes she had mistakenly pressed the figure minus four (-4) and was therefore taken down to the ‘dungeon’ of the hotel.

At first, she tried to travel back up to the lobby using the elevator buttons and her room key but nothing seemed to be working. As she started to panic alone in the basement, Alix Earle pulled out her phone to call for help – only to realize her device had run out of charge. Earle then recalls how she started to ball her eyes out crying, thinking: “Oh my god I’m going to sleep in the dungeon of this hotel in Paris.”

As the story is being told, Ashtin jokes her sister is so dramatic. But Alix argues back: “No, you don’t understand, there was nothing down there.”

Earle explains she was stuck in a “little white room” wondering to herself if this is a regular occurrence in the hotel with intoxicated girls. She joked: “Is this how they trap people?”

The sisters then reference the French action film series ‘Taken’, whereby Liam Neeson plays an ex-CIA officer who sets out to track down his teenage daughter her best friend after they are kidnapped by human traffickers while traveling in France during a vacation.

After calming herself down, Alix later turns the corner and finds some stairs that take her to an exit door – hoping to lead out from the hotel onto the streets of Paris.

However, the door doesn’t open completely and influencer Alix Earle is still trapped inside the hotel basement.

At this point, she recalls she was “freaking out” and just wanted to contact her younger sister who was probably sound asleep during the drama.

Determined, Alix Earle continued to walk up the stairs and soon found herself in the spa of the hotel – surrounded by the saunas and gymnasium but no staff. After traveling through the spa, she finds a front desk and another elevator. Hoping this will lead her to an exit, Alix is then taken up to the lobby and finds the regular elevator which eventually leads her to the hotel room.

Finally arriving at the room, she is shaking but relieved to have found her way back to her sister.

The traumatic experience didn’t stop the celebrity from rocking Paris Fashion Week

Once the panic is over, the social media stars order room service food and manage to stay up all night. She said she was filled with energy after “escaping from the dungeons in Paris.”

After staying awake until around 7 a.m., the next day Alix is woken up by her agent banging on the door to start her busy day.

The traumatic experience of being trapped in the Paris hotel basement didn’t stop the girls as they went on to party the following night in France.

Alix Earle attended the Miu Miu Womenswear S/S 2024 show as part of Paris Fashion Week at Palais d’Iena in October. The dramatic evening didn’t stop the TikToker from sporting a sexy stylish outfit at the event.

The English teacher has slammed her $47,500 yearly salary after her OnlyFans was exposed. She told the St Louis Dispatch “Teaching does not financially support a person.” She joined the adult website in May 2023 to supplement her income and pay back her $125,000 student loan.

“It’s really hard to stretch those paychecks during the summer. That’s why I did it,” the former teacher said.

She also shared that she made between $3000 to $5000 from OnlyFans each month. However, she tried to remain anonymous by not posting her face and real name.
