Meaning of ‘artistic nudity’ explained as Twitch changes policy

    [ad_1]

Twitch has changed its policy surrounding sexual content this week and ‘artistic nudity’ is now allowed on the platform.

    ‘Artistic nudity’ meaning

“Content with a focus on fictionalized (drawn, animated, or sculpted) sexual body parts regardless of gender (such as doing nude figure drawing) are allowed with a Sexual Themes Label,” Twitch’s new guidelines say.

This means you can share nudity that has been created for artistic purposes but they must be imaginary and not include any real people or images. Artistic depictions of “fictionalized sexual acts” still remain prohibited.

Artistic nudity includes drawings or animations of fully nude people, including breasts, genitals or buttocks. This change is to embrace the “thriving artist community on Twitch” as the old policy was far too punishing.

    Content must be labelled

If you do share any artistic nudity on Twitch, you must add a content classification label that says ‘Sexual Themes’.

This is because the content contains mature themes which are not appropriate for everyone, including younger viewers.

“Content classification labels help viewers make informed choices about the content they watch,” Twitch says.

They also help streamers attract viewers who are “more likely to be a good fit for their community”and help brands make better choices.

    No label results in warning

Twitch warns that anyone who fails to apply a label, or applies the incorrect label, will get a warning and the correct label will be applied to their stream.

Repeated violations will result in the correct label being locked onto the channel for a set duration of time, but will not result in a suspension.

Under the new rules, streams that are labeled with mature themes will no longer be recommended on the Twitch homepage.

This includes: Drugs, Intoxication, or Excessive Tobacco Use, Violent and Graphic Depictions, Gambling and Sexual Themes.

However, any streams with these labels will still be included in Category page recommendations as usual.

Pink Friday 2 perfume is sold out everywhere

The fragrance inspired by Nicki Minaj‘s new album, originally scheduled to drop on December 17, was released early. The rapper was surprised herself when she woke up to learn that her new scent was out.

The product was released exclusively on JCPenney and later made available on Amazon. But, at the time of writing, Pink Friday 2 perfume is sold out on both shopping sites.

The description under the picture of the perfume on Amazon reads: “Currently unavailable. We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.” On JCPenney, the 1.7 Oz bottle was sold for $49.

Barbz couldn’t be more disappointed upon realizing that they missed out on the rapper’s latest collection, which may or may not be in stock ever again.

“I thought it was coming today on Amazon??,” wrote one.

Another added: “Pink Friday 2 perfume is supposed to be available on Amazon today but why can’t I find it.”

“Please tell me Pink Friday 2 perfume will be restocked? I can’t believe I missed it.” read one comment.

“Y’all where else can I get Pink Friday 2 Perfume?! JC Penney is getting on my nerves,” wrote another frustrated user.

    Nicki Minaj’s new fragrance notes

The sequel to the iconic Pink Friday perfume in a two-piece bottle imitates Nicki’s look in the music video of Super Girl. The shopping website describes it as: “A completely new fragrance marking this next chapter for her beauty portfolio that is both sensual and addictive.”

It has Nectarine, Pineapple, and Solar Blooms on top, Orange Flower Petals, Pink Mimosa, Damask Rose in the Heart and Amber, Tonka Bean, and Sexy Musk in the bottom notes. The three layers together form a fruity fragrance.

The perfume was accompanied by Pink Friday 2.0 Eau De Parfum Travel Spray, which sold for $22. That is currently out of stock too.

Facebook‘s Messenger app continues to remain one of its most-used features and users are annoyed as an error message is being displayed in place of the actual media. This issue is being reported by people around the world.

A significant number of users have taken to Twitter to share screenshots of the “Media is no longer available” message they received while sending or receiving photos on Messenger.

Facebook hasn’t addressed the glitch that a lot of users seem to have issues with. The phrase “Facebook Messenger Down” is now trending on X as users are hoping to find solutions.

According to Downdetector, the issue with the Messenger app not showing the media has been reported by users since the morning of Wednesday, December 13, and the complaints have only increased at the time of writing this article.

Photos are not showing on the texting app

Conversations on chatting apps are incomplete without the exchange of media. The fact that Messenger, one of the most used interfaces in the world, isn’t working has prompted Facebook users to demand answers.

One asked: “I can’t see photos sent to me on Facebook Messenger. Does anyone else have the same problem?”

“Is anyone else having issues sending and seeing photos on Facebook Messenger,” added another.

A third tweet read: “Is it the connection or Facebook Messenger photos are not loading?”

Potential fixes for Facebook Messenger not working

The error could possibly be caused by a bug. Until this issue is rectified from Meta‘s end, you could try the below possible fixes.

    1. Log out of the app and log back into it.
    2. Close the app and open it again.
    3. Make sure you have uninterrupted mobile data/wifi.
    4. Clear Messenger’s cache on your device.
    5. Ensure you’re using the latest version of the app.

If the issue persists, delete the app and reinstall it.

  • Who is Kwadwo Brathwaite?

    Who is Kwadwo Brathwaite?

    [ad_1]

Kwadwo Brathwaite is TikTok’s new main character after he found himself at the center of a now-viral shouting match in an Epcot theme park.

A dramatic altercation marred a day out to the iconic theme park for two groups of guests, though the man in the middle of the widely publicized controversy has claimed that the situation is more complex than most people on the internet realize.

Who is Kwadwo Brathwaite and why has he gone viral?

Brathwaite is an avid social media poster who regularly uploads fitness content and motivation videos and has seen a sharp spike in views this week.

He has come under fire for lying during the argument about playing football for the University of Central Florida, forcing the team to confirm that he is not associated with them. The incident occurred when Brathwaite and his friends were accused of cutting the line for a ride at the Disney park, prompting a foul-mouthed response in which he claimed to play for the University team.

Though Brathwaite did have a successful high school football career at Spruce Creek, Florida, there is no record of him having played at college level.

Brathwaite cleared the air on TikTok

Taking to TikTok to address the situation, Brathwaite apologized for his actions, though he claimed there was a little more to the incident than meets the eye.

“I got recorded when I was emotional,” Brathwaite explained. “Because these dudes gave racial slurs.”

After a brief conversation with the people who filmed the incident, Brathwaite claims the racism escalated: “Unfortunately when we turned our backs, hard racial slurs started coming out – hard ‘ER’. I was the only black dude with my group, so it couldn’t have been going at anybody but me.”

The fitness vlogger claimed that he lost his temper upon hearing the shouts, prompting the impassioned response that could be seen in the video. Multiple TikTok users were rather unsympathetic in the comments, claiming that Brathwaite was lying about the racist comments, despite having no evidence to prove so.

Brathwaite maintained that he did not skip any lines and that he and his friends were not at any point removed from the park.

Horrifying moment baker found thousands of bugs in her flour is ‘skin crawling stuff’

    [ad_1]

A woman has gone viral on TikTok after finding loads of bugs in her flour when she went to do some Christmas baking.

The discovery left her completely horrified, but internet users are explaining that it’s actually far more common than you think.

TikTok user finds thousands of bugs in her flour
    @tiktokkiddydoc (TikTok)

Woman finds bugs in her flour

“So I was getting ready to do some Christmas baking and I noticed a few brown specs in the flour and when I lifted the lid, these things were crawling all over the flour,” she said.

The doctor from Ireland filmed the glass jar of flour, which has loads of tiny brown bugs crawling across the top.

“What the hell are these?” she added. “I’m never baking again after this. This is an airtight container how the hell did these things get in there?”

    They’re called grain weevils

The bugs are called wheat or grain weevils and are tiny insects that feed on cereal grains and are actually really common pests.

They commonly cause significant damage to harvested grains stored by farmers and drastically decrease crop yields

Weevils are around three to five millimetres long and are a frightening thing to see in your flour, but they’re actually harmless.

In fact, food scientist Skye Blackburn told The Guardian: “It doesn’t hurt if you eat them and it’s all extra protein.”

“The average person will eat about a quarter of a kilogram of insects in their diet every year anyway!” he added.

    ‘I’m panicking now’

They might be safe, but the viral video is making people on TikTok scared to look in their cupboards and pantries.

One person commented: “I’ve got a massive bag of flour in my kitchen cabinet. I’m panicking now.”

“Omg I’ve got a bag of flour sitting in my cupboard. I’m binning it now,” said another.

A third person added: “When I first discovered flour weevils my soul literally left my body.”

“Happened to me once. Literally skin crawling stuff,” someone else said.

Eye-opening ‘Red Car Theory’ shows how we overlook life’s opportunities

    [ad_1]

A thought-provoking analogy called the Red Car Theory has taken over social media that’s opening everyone’s eyes.

The viral theory says that opportunities are like red cars and it will change the way you seek chances in life forever.

LED headlight in a new vehicle
Warsaw, Poland – March 12th, 2016: View on the headlight in a modern car Renault Megane on the street. This hatchback was debut in 2015 on the mark…

What is the Red Car Theory?

The Red Car Theory explains that we must actively look for opportunities in life otherwise they won’t come to us.

It revolves around the idea that opportunities are like red cars. They’re all around us, but we usually overlook them.

If someone asked how many red cars you saw today, you wouldn’t be able to tell them because you took no notice.

However, if they told you in the morning they’d give you $50 for every red car you saw that day, you’d know.

This is how opportunities work. We must always be aware of them and look out for them at every moment.

    Car analogy represents opportunities

The theory has gone viral on social media thanks to a clip of beauty businesswoman woman Elena Asher talking about it.

She explained the theory to another individual on the Leaders Talk podcast and said: “That’s how luck works and that’s how the opportunities work.”

“When you go through life and you’re not looking and you’re not aware, they’re just passing by and you don’t even notice.”

“Anything can turn into opportunity but you have to be aware and you have to keep looking,” she continued.

    Theory opens people’s eyes

The analogy is making everyone reflect on their own lives and the opportunities they have probably missed.

One person commented: “Very well said. Plus more networking so you have more opportunities and information.”

“Oh! This is so true! The Bible says ‘Seek and ye shall find!’” said another.

A third person added: “OPEN YOUR EYES… ALWAYS.”

“Wow so many missed opportunities in my life,” someone else wrote.

    Another said: “Such inspiring words.”

Moana is not going to be trans in next Disney movie, as TikTok rumour is debunked

    [ad_1]

Disney fans were duped into believing that Moana is going to be trans in the second movie. The claim was proven to be completely false.

Moana became the latest victim of the fake news cycle after a viral TikTok video claimed she was set to transition to a male in the next movie.

The video that started the false rumor of Moana being trans

On December 10 fake news that Moana was set to be trans was established on TikTok by a popular blog called Mouse Trap News. The video has been seen over five million times and coincides with a blog post written by the blog.

The video claimed that the 2016 movie was set to have a sequel titled “Moana 2: Rise of Kai.” Its plot followed Moana transitioning from female to male, making her the first trans prince.

In the post, an edited image of Moana as a male was shown, claiming that Moana is still unhappy with her role on the island and “teams up with Maui again to find her true self.”

Moana begins her transition, the fake story claims, in the middle of the movie and selects her new name as Kai. “Throughout the rest of the movie, Kai shares his new male identity with his family and friends on the island. However, the island is ‘transphobic,’ causing her many mental health issues,” claimed the blog post.

It then claims that the village ends up accepting Moana and her new identity, fixing their “bigoted mindset” to “fully embrace” her.

TikTok users were fooled by the claim

Despite the plotline raising immediate alarm bells for many, others were duped by the viral video. Some even planned to cancel their Disney Plus membership or demanded social media ‘cancel’ Disney.

“I no longer support Disney after hearing this,” wrote one user.

“Time to cancel Disney,” added another.

    The video is completely false

Mouse Trap News is self-described as being satire and admits in the bio to posting “news that is 100% fake.”

“We write fake stories about Disney Parks stuff,” reads the site’s bio. “ From Disney Park announcements to Disney Hotel and resort news to made-up Disney partnerships, you can be assured that anything you read here is not true, real, or accurate, but it is fun.”

It’s not the first time the blog has published false stories about upcoming movies and the LGBTQ+ community. In October 2023, the blog reported a false claim that Elsa would be marrying a woman in the next Frozen movie.

  • Woman finds a ‘shark tooth’ lodged into the concrete of her driveway

Woman finds a ‘shark tooth’ lodged into the concrete of her driveway

    [ad_1]

A mom’s amazing fossil find has impressed online after she found a whole shark tooth in her driveway.

North Carolina mom @jessthemamamess on TikTok documented her day spent excavating fossils out of her street in a scene she described as “Jurrasic Park: Shark Streetz.”

Much to the delight of many TikTok viewers, Jess was able to find fossilized shark teeth from the comfort of her own home.

Finding a shark’s tooth in the street

Jess shared the find to TikTok on October 19 and has since gained over six million views. “Just a mom excavating shark teeth out of the streets for my five-year-old,” she wrote on screen.

She took to the street with a hammer, hitting the tooth out of the ground and sending it flying out of frame. When she picked up the tooth and showed it to the camera, it was dark and fossilized.

Shark teeth are hard to come across on beach fronts, according to fossil seekers, so Jess and her home plethora of shark teeth are in luck. In a comment, Jess confirmed that she found over a dozen more teeth in just 30 minutes, despite never finding any when she searched at the beach.

The mom confirmed that she lives near the beach and that she believes the fossils are in the ground due to the mixture of beach sedinemnt in the concrete when making the roads. “You can find shells and shark’s teeth in there,” she wrote.

    Shark tooth in street
    Still from @jessthemamamess on TikTok.

Fossils can be found in concrete, depending on where the stone is from

Streets might not be lined with gold in the US. but they often are lined with fossils. Limestone, for example, is often mixed into concrete like asphalt when making roads. As a sedimentary rock made almost completely of fossils, they can reportedly sometimes still be found when mixed into concrete.

Roads aren’t the only surprising place that fossils can be found either. Researchers in Australia previously concluded that places like the Pentagon and the Empire State Building even contain fossils in the limestone used in the building materials.

Flint gravel however may be the easiest for homeowners to attempt to track down some fossils at home, without needing to use any tools.

Other homeowners share their fossil finds

In the comments of Jess’ video, many shared their own interesting finds in streets and driveways. Some of which might even be more exciting than a shark’s tooth.

“I have a gravel driveway and I have found SO many fossils of shells it’s actually crazy – I could find one in a minute easily,” wrote one user.

“I saw an Indian dollar in my driveway once then I lost it,” added another.

“Sometimes you can find decent chunks of garnet in gravel,” reads one comment.

    [ad_1]

Panic over for fans of Five Guys, as the restaurant is not set to close its doors, despite rumors circulating

Five Guys logo seen at one of their branches...
Photo by Keith Mayhew/SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images..

Why people believe Five Guys is closing

Internet users have been up in arms after being led to believe that Five Guys is shutting its doors to customers next year. They were convinced by online ads across YouTube and Google ads that showed photos of a Five Guys store, with the caption: “They’re closing doors in 2024. Restaurant chains closing 2024” or “It’s time to say goodbye, these fast food restaurants be closing the doors.”

Although the advert headlines didn’t explicitly specify that Five Guys is closing, the images certainly suggested it.

    Company Signs
Image by Robert Kirk/ Getty Images

No, Five Guys is not shutting

As reported by Snopes, the adverts circulating online took users to an article on Reference.com titled “These 53 Restaurant Chains Are on the Brink of Disappearing Entirely.”

According to Snopes, the article was published in 2020 and last updated in 2021 – meaning it hasn’t been updated in over two years.

Visiting the article shows a list of 68 different US restaurants that the site believes could close in the future, with text blurbs on financial troubles or previously closed locations. Funnily enough, Five Guys was not even featured in the list at all.

Five Guys Fast Food Restaurant on Long Acre at Covent Garden in City of Westminster, London
    Credit: Moonstone Images/ Getty Images.

Why do these adverts even exist?

Although you might be familiar with the term “clickbait” already, these types of adverts are a very specific form of clickbait described as “advertising arbitrage”

In short, these adverts aim to bring readers to the webpage article, which they run various adverts on. The aim is to earn more back from the adverts on the article than the company paid to advertise the article across other sites and platforms in the first place.

Although this is an advertisement model used by most businesses—paying for an advert in hopes of earning more back in generated profits, these adverts are often extremely misleading. Companies make the adverts as clickworthy as possible, in order to get as many clicks as they can and more money – but more often than not, the story itself is far less interesting or completely unrelated and accurate.

Often, the articles will be spread out over various pages or in the form of an exhuasting slideshow, so as to create as much advertising opportunity as possible.

  • Why you get grey hairs and why you definitely shouldn’t pull them out

Why you get grey hairs and why you definitely shouldn’t pull them out

    [ad_1]

An expert has revealed why you shouldn’t be plucking out those pesky grey hairs despite the overwhelming urge to rid yourself of them.

We’ve all been there, standing in front of the mirror and suddenly noticing a thin grey hair standing out for all to see. Do you pluck it? Do you dye your whole head in a panic? There are almost too many questions. Luckily, an expert has offered their opinion to subdue those intrusive thoughts.

Why do you get grey hairs?

As we get older, the melanin in our hair begins to slowly die. Without this pigment, our hair starts to turn silver, grey and eventually white. Naturally, the older one gets, the less pigment they have to keep their hair the natural colour.

How fast we lose our pigment is largely down to our genes, meaning it’s practically impossible to stop. Most people will experience this loss in their 30s and 40s, but it can happen even younger in extreme cases.

“At the end of each hair cycle our melanocytes are replaced from a finite number of stem cells, and after many hair cycles these can get used up and follicles are left with their pigment production depleted,” Eleanore Richardson, Consultant Trichologist MIT at Fulham Scalp and Hair Clinic, previously told Glamour.

Should you pull out grey hairs?

Hairstylist Michael Van Clarke explained that by plucking a single hair from your head, you can actually interrupt the growing cycles of your entire head.

He said: “The plucked hair whose life you shortened will rest and start its next growth cycle after about three months,” the hairstylist told Huffington Post about what really happens when you pluck a grey hair.

“At each cycle after about age 20, the hair grows back a little thinner and stays around for a slightly shorter time. Cycles on the head average five years and there are a limited number of growth cycles.”

While such damage can be difficult to repair, ITV This Morning’s Dr Karan explained that there is a silver lining. Pardon the pun.

“When you pull out a grey hair, do seven grow back?” a caller questioned, to which the doctor responded, It doesn’t grow back, that’s because you only have the possibility of one piece of hair in one follicle, so pulling out a grey hair is not going to make all the nearby follicles turn grey.”

A creepy story about a woman named Eva Lefebrve being ‘mauled by monkeys’ is going viral on TikTok but the tragic happenings have been debunked.

The popular AI-filmed video about a crazy monkey attack is confusing TikTok viewers and while it may not be true, it sure is a scary horror story.

Eva Lefebrve ‘mauled by monkeys’ viral TikTok story debunked

A scary story shared via TikTok has confused and creeped out many viewers on social media.

The video made using AI shows a woman named Eva Lefebrve talking to the camera, explaining that she was attacked by a group of chimpanzees.

There are no articles or news information surrounding the Eva Lefebrve story online. Since the TikTok clips are simply AI images and recordings, the story has been debunked as a fake tale created on social media.

In the story, Eva Lefebrve explains that she is 24 years old and born in New Mexico. One day, she and her friends decided to visit the Kibale National Park.

As they were strolling through the park, 13 chimpanzees appeared and started harassing the group of friends.

Eva Lefebrve was holding a banana in her hand, supposedly triggering the chimps, when they progressively became more aggressive until she threw the banana into the pack.

One of the chimps chased Eva to the car, the video explains: “I was so scared I took my phone out and started filming the assault.”

The chimp was extremely playful and while Eva tried to stay calm, she stated: “I was certain that the end was near.”

The TikTok clip shared by @cityhorrors has currently reached over one million views, more than 29,000 likes, and a comment section full of confused and fearful comments.

More Eva Lefebrve ‘monkey attack’ AI videos on TikTok

Another AI-filmed TikTok video with a similar plot line explains that Eva Lefebrve was walking alone in a deserted park, holding a banana.

This video suggests that Eva Lefebrve was assaulted by an entire group of monkeys, “screaming in pain” with no one coming to her rescue.

Part two, continuing the monkey attack tale, is yet to be posted for either of the viral TikTok videos.

The creepy Eva Lefebrve story confuses TikTok viewers

In the TikTok comments of the creepy AI video, confused users asked why Eva started recording instead of escaping the monkey into her car.

Similarly, other comments ask: “When did the cellphone become a weapon in an animal attack?”

A comment by @Maurice S. Cooley sarcastically stated: “Well thank goodness you filmed it, so we can all wonder why you didn’t fight back.”

@Boyd Baker stated that the horror story is simply an AI-made-up video: “Do people really not realize this is AI?”

@kaitlyn wrote: “There are so many different versions of this story but they all end the same way. O can’t find ANYTHING about it online.”

Another user named @Taylor suggested that the real story could be based on an orangutan: “It was an orangutan, not a chimp and he didn’t chase her to her car, he grabbed her wrist and held on and eventually let go she was fine.”

Chrisean Rock covers neck tattoo tribute to Blueface with the name of her baby

    [ad_1]

Chrisean Rock has finally covered up the neck tattoo tribute to ex-boyfriend Blueface while choosing to adorn the area with a new tribute to her baby.

Chrisean, full name Chrisean Eugenia Malone, rose to prominence through her rap career and appearing on Zeus reality series Baddies. She later starred in her own show, Blueface & Chrisean: Crazy In Love. Back in 2020, the Baltimore local began dating Johnathan Jamall Porter, known professionally as Blueface.

What did Chrisean Rock replace her Blueface tattoo with?

Back in 2022, the rapper underwent several hours of tattooing to get Blueface across her neck. While their relationship did not last, the tattoo was seemingly forever.

But Chrisean, 23, went under the needle once again this week as she sat down to have the original artwork covered. She posted a video for her 5.5 million Instagram followers that showed the process and her chosen artwork.

A large rose could be seen covering the upper portion of her chest, leading onto her neck. Beneath the floral design, the artist printed her newborn son’s name, Chrisean Jesus Malone, Jr, in bold lettering.

“I’m making my first step to my new chapter @lakimii_tattoo I got 2-3 more sessions,” she captioned the post, earning over 800k likes in just under 24 hours. With a significant portion of time still left, fans were left wondering what else is set to be added.

What did fans say about Chrisean Rock’s new baby tattoo?

Fans had a lot to say about Chrisean’s new ink, with many celebrating the fact that she had moved on from dedications to BlueFace. Ironically, she has six other tattoo tributes to him.

One person wrote: “HAPPY FOR U don’t ever do no dumb s**t like that again.”

“WHEN GOD SAYS REMOVE ‼️ YOU LISTEN!!” another said, with a third adding, “DONT EVER DEW SUMN LIKE THIS AGAIN.”

The 26-year-old rapper is yet to comment on Chrisean’s new addition, but he has been in the headlines for another reason.

Taking to Twitter on December 9 with a startling accusation, he wrote: “Tell me why I snook an swab this baby dna test results came in….iam not the father smh. it’s a bitter sweat feeling cus I was coming around to it but definitely in my best interest. thank you Jesus.”

But fans did not leap to his defence, as one scathed: “You post everything else post the results for us to see.”

“He lying he just mad Chrisean happy with k suave , Jr got a step father now they dont need you,” another person wrote.

  • Madagascar’s Mort has an incredibly dark backstory that includes ‘soul sucking’

Madagascar’s Mort has an incredibly dark backstory that includes ‘soul sucking’

    [ad_1]

Despite his adorable diminutive figure and squeaky voice, Madagascar’s Mort actually has an incredibly dark backstory that includes horrific details like “absorbing” his grandmother and obsessing over King Julien’s feet.

Everyone first fell in love with Mort during the 2005 animated classic Madagascar about zoo animals finding their footing on the island of the same name. The blockbuster, which turned into a franchise, starred the likes of Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen and Jada Pinkett Smith.

    Who/what is Mort from Madagascar?

Mort, voiced by Andy Richter, was introduced as a mouse lemur fan of the island’s King Julien. The comic relief character was very obsessive and he would soon become a fan favourite.

He would later appear in spin-off projects like Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, Penguins of Madagascar and All Hail King Julien.

Mort’s dark history brought to life

The little guy’s troubling history was brought to life by TikTok user @daisyfoko, who took to the platform this month with a lengthy video and the caption, “Replying to @tiktoktactictalk this is gonna change your life.”

In the video, she explained: “Mort, who many people assume is a baby because he baby talks. It is revealed in All Hail King Julien that Mort is an immortal species, capable of sucking the life out of other immortal species. Thus giving him multiple personalities.”

Daisy continued to explain that such lores sheds light on why Mort sometimes appears as “smart Mort” and is able to do really smart things. He’s not just smart, it’s literally from someone he absorbed! If you thought it couldn’t get creepier, then you’d be wrong, because Mort also absorbed both his grandmother and grandfather.

The little creature also develops random powers like generating a “forcefield of ignorance” that protects him from all harm and super strength.

According to Daisy, it is also revealed that the reason Mort is obsessed with King Julien and is feet is because “King Julien reminds him of Stalin.” Yes, THAT Stalin.

“Also Mort carried out the assasination, in cannon, of JFK,” she added before continuing to explain that Mort goes on spy missions. But there is still more. “It’s also implied that not only is Mort an immortal who can time travel, but he is also the god of death.”

TikTok reacts to Mort from Madagascar becoming the god of death

Predictably, TikTok did not take this news well. After all, Daisy managed to wreck everyone’s childhood vision of the adorable little lemur.

Reactiing to the post, one person wrote: “i expected everything but the stalin namedrop like WHAT.”

“if it gives you guys an idea, theres a 2 part series of Video Essays called The Crimes Of Mort on youtube, and each part is TWO AND A HALF HOURS LONG,” another person wrote, to which the original creator replied, “IVE SEEN IT AND ITS AMAZING.”

Someone else added: “Is this how I get a hyper-fixation on the Madagascar series?”
