Many have taken to Twitter/X to react to the new feature, and people can’t believe the app actually has its own Wrapped.

However, it isn’t actually a new feature at all. Life360 launched Wrapped in 2022, so this is the second year of statistics for many.

  • Influencer Alexa Losey says man she met once has mysteriously sent her designer shoes every month for years

Influencer Alexa Losey says man she met once has mysteriously sent her designer shoes every month for years

    [ad_1]

Influencer Alexa Losey says she mysteriously received designer shoe deliveries every month from a man she’s only ever met.

Losey said she met the men at a dinner party in New York and for the past year and a half has received shoes from Louboutin, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton right to her door.

She shared her mysterious story in a video on her popular TikTok account, in which she explained that most of the time she ends up trading the shoes for store credit as she doesn’t like them.

They met at a party in New York

In her video uploaded on November 5, Losey explained that she met the man at a party in New York a couple of years ago and briefly chatted to a group of guys – one of whom became her mystery shoe donor. During the same trip to New York, she met the man at a friend’s dinner party and said they had “light banter” with one another, making loose plans to get dinner together at some point.

Losey said she was forced to leave the city early due to work commitments and so was unable to hang out with the man again. “We didn’t really keep talking, didn’t keep in contact,” she said. “Until one say a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes just arrives at my door.”

“I did not order these shoes,” she said, adding that in the influencer industry, they know if they are about to receive a press package from the designer.

“I find a card in the box,” she described. “It’s from the guy, it says ‘wish we got to hang out’.”

Losey contacted their mutual friend who confirmed she gave her shoe size and address to the man. Losey however was less than impressed with the elaborate gesture. “It honestly kind of gave me the ick,” she said, but made sure to send him a text thanking him and adding that she was “bummed” they didn’t hang out. The influencer however only received a simple smiley face back in response.

The next month, Losey said she received Proenzer boots at her door. A month later she received Louboutins. “Eventually he didn’t even put a card in there, the shoes would just show up at my front door,” she said.

In fact, the shoes were never Losey’s style so she would end up trading them in for store credit. After a year and a year and a half, they suddenly stopped, until last month, when another pair randomly showed up with “I miss you” on the card.

Alexa Losey’s shoe admirer saw her TikTok video

After posting her original TikTok, Losey said the man saw it but found humor in her reaction. He told their mutual friend: “I wish she would have just told me what shoes she wanted because I was just picking what I thought she would like.”

This time, Alexa Losey said she got a dream pair of Chanel ballet shoes after the man asked her friend for suggestions.

“I feel a little weird, but I really like them,” she said.

TikTok users wish it was them

Losey’s video grabbed the attention of her followers, with many of them wishing they would also be sent designer shoes every month.

“Lord I see what you’ve done for others,” wrote one follower in a comment.

“This is my dream scenario,” added another.

Eerie TikTok video leaves viewers stumped over ‘basketball doll’ but there’s a catch

    [ad_1]

TikTok users have been left baffled over whether or not a viral doll is really a doll at all.

Videos of an apparent life-size doll have gone viral on TikTok, gaining millions of views, but it’s not all it seems, with viewers stumped over whether it’s human or a doll.

Although it’s difficult to tell at first, a little digging reveals all.

The accurate doll has confused people online

You might be forgiven for immediately assuming the video does in fact show a life-size doll, but a simple search on the account behind the video shows it’s actually a very real human.

@piranka_tik regularly shares videos to TikTok pretending to be a doll, but her other videos show her real life, away from being a doll.

On November 30, Piranka went viral on TikTok for her version of a “basketball doll” in which she dressed up as an eerily accurate Lakers player doll. Beginning covered in a sheet of plastic, the man behind the camera ripped it off her, revealing the doll-human.  The video can be seen through this link here.

Piranka stood perfectly frozen in place with a cartoon expression on her face. The human-doll was holding a basketball toy, which when pushed by the camera man simply dropped with no motion from the hand.

In the other hand, she held a plastic sports bottle, which was attempted to be fed to her by the cameraman, but simply trickled down her face instead.

When the cameraman placed a coin on the doll, her basketball-shaped speaker began to play music and move her around in a circle, looking exactly like a wind-up doll.

Viewers were confused by the TikTok viral doll video

“This is uncanny valley,” commented one TikTok user.

“Is it from a 3D printer?” asked another user.

“She should play Squid Game,” joked one comment, citing her strong ability to stay still.

Piranka’s creation of a realistic Russian doll

More recently, Piranka went viral for another version of a doll, using her skills to create a “Russian doll.” She shared the video just last week,.

Like with the NBA doll, she was ripped out of plastic by the cameraman, revealing her frozen in place. This time, she was dressed as a Russian doll, fit with a long fur coat and hat, with a scarf around her head.

Piranka was holding a shot glass of vodka in one hand and caviar in the other, while her face stared spookily into the sky. The doll-human was wearing a mini vintage stereo, which when turned on played the viral “Moi Marmeladnyi” song that’s taken over on TikTok recently.

Viewers were similarly left stumped by this doll video too, debating in the comments whether she’s real or not.

Woman uses Tinder to get her bathroom shelves put up: «Work smarter, not harder»

    [ad_1]

A woman has gone viral online after sharing that she used her Tinder matches to fix up her bathroom.

When Madison Weinrich was left needing to put up her shelves but without a drill, she turned to her dating app matches.

After sharing her tip to TikTok, the influencer has gained over 2 million views, with many others sharing their own similar anecdotes.

    messages to Tinder matches
    Stills from @madison.weinrich on TikTok.

Enlisting a Tinder match to put up shelves

On December 7, Weinrich had the smart idea to use her Tinder account in a way that it might not have been intended for. “Do you have a drill?” Weinrich messaged all of her matches on the app.

“POV: You use Tinder to get your skincare shelves put up,” she wrote on-screen in her TikTok video.

Luckily for Weinrich, one of her matches appeared to have a drill and even came around to help her put up the shelves. A clip from the video showed the Tinder date drilling the shelves up on the bathroom walls.

He did a good job too, as a happy Weinrish showed the finished product, holding all her skincare on her bathroom wall.

TikTokers have also done the same

It’s innovative, but Weinrich isn’t the only one to have used a dating app in this way. Viewers flooded the comments of the viral video with their own stories of using Tinder to find their own personal handymen.

“I once did this because I wanted a guy to come help me wash and shear my show lamb,” wrote one TikTok user.

“Me getting a man from Tinder to come and jump-start my car. Work smarter not harder” added another.

One comment reads: “Mine came over with a drill and made my bed frame. Two years later and we’re buying a house.”

“Had a guy build shelves for me from Tinder. Still one of the most romantic things a man has done,” recounted a viewer in the comments.

The ethics of dating app matches doing your housework

In 2016, the New York Post explored this phenomenon of daters using their apps to get housework done—and opinions were split.

While some were all for the technique, others felt it was unfair on the Tinder matches.

“I don’t feel guilty using them for a little help,” reasoned one dater to the outlet, adding that she always makes it clear that the visit isn’t a real date. She used Tinder matches to fix up her AC and also to get a ride from the city to the Hamptons.

Others however felt differently and argued that the method is a “thinly veiled exploitation” of matches. “It just seems so transparently selfish,” a dating coach told the Post, adding that they should use Craigslist instead.

The track features a sample of Billie Eilish’s 2019 hit When The Party’s Over, a somber song about a toxic relationship.

It begins with the entire first verse, opening with the lines: “Don’t you know I’m no good for you/ I’ve learned to lose you, can’t afford to.”

“Tore my shirt to stop you bleedin’/ But nothin’ ever stops you leavin’/ Quiet when I’m comin’ home and I’m on my own,” it continues.

Nicki Minaj then starts rapping about her late father Robert Maraj as the beat of Eilish’s hit continues playing in the background.

The song delves into her grief following her dad’s death and despair that her son Papa Bear never got to meet him.

    Rapper sings Billie Eilish’s praises

Ahead of the album’s release, Nicki teased the sample on Twitter/X, writing: “Schmillie Schmeilish may or may not be the intro of #PinkFriday2.”

She then revealed the track name and said: “Yes you heard what I said. The one. The only. The young ICON.”

Minaj went on to call Eilish a “talent” and a “beauty” before adding: “The intro is just… wow.”

The Everything I Wanted singer’s track continues playing all the way through the three-and-a-half minute hit.

In the outro, Eilish then sings: “Quiet when I’m coming home and I’m on my own/ I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that.”

Fans say it’s an ‘iconic’ collab

The viral video was shared by an account called Fantastic Bedroom and shows a round bed that’s themed around a turtle.

The base of the bed makes up the sea creature’s head and legs, and there’s a huge soft shell that goes over the top.

A large hole is placed in the front so you can climb inside the shell, which is where you are supposed to sleep.

Inside is a soft mattress and loads of pillows and the whole things looks like the cosiest place to rest ever.

    TikTok users are obsessed

The video has racked up almost four million views and people on TikTok are obsessed with the furniture.

  • Man uses a marching band to announce he is quitting his job, and the boss is not amused

Man uses a marching band to announce he is quitting his job, and the boss is not amused

    [ad_1]

A man has gone viral for a second time after the moment he quit with the help of a marching band resurfaced online.

Joey DeFrancesco decided to skip the usual email of resignation route and instead enlisted his marching band to announce his departure from his unhappy job.

DeFrancesco documented the moment he told his boss “I quit” and uploaded it to YouTube in 2011. Now, in 2023, the internet is doing what the internet does and recirculating on TikTok once more.

Quitting the job with the help of a marching band

It’s unconventional, but DeFrancesco gained huge online fame when he made the decision to quit via marching band. “They treat us like s**t,” he told the camera at the start of the video. “I’m going to go and quit right now with the help of my bandmates.”

With his fellow members of What Cheer? Brigade, DeFrancesco entered the hotel through the side entrance. After finding the boss, he told them to leave. DeFrancesco responds by handing him his resignation letter and telling him “I quit.”

The band instantly began, like a movie soundtrack, and played loudly as DeFranco walked away smiling widely.

In 2011, the epic moment went hugely viral and currently has 9 million views on YouTube – that was a lot at the time.

The back story behind the video

DeFrancesco told HuffPost at the time that issues between workers and management had been a “big drawn-out war” and that he wanted to get “one last shot at them.”

“I hated them and they hated me,” he told the outlet.

The resignation came after a long fight from workers to unionize. Workers voted to join a union just over a year before the video, which resulted in some benefits but also strained relations with management.

Scheduling issues were a huge part of the decision, with workers telling media they were made to work late shifts only to return to open just a few hours later. DeFrancesco told HuffPost his loss of shifts after unionizing was one of the main reasons he decided to quit.

TikTok users have been loving the epic resignation

After being shared to TikTok by popular meme video account @laughhard__ on October 15, the video was seen by millions more people. As it stands, the TikTok post has 930k likes.

“Legend says the boss still hears the band’s music in the background,” joked one user.

“The level of petty I aspire to be,” added another.

“You must include this on your resume,” reads one comment. “It shows creativity, initiative and dedication to seeing a project through to the end. Bravo.”

    Amazon locker address hack rumor

In early December, users noticed that some strange locker pick-up addresses had been added to their account that couldn’t be removed.

This prompted widespread panic that thousands of Amazon accounts had been hacked with fake addresses, but we now know that’s not the case.

One person wrote online: “Warning Guys. Amazon has been hacked and these hackers are adding Amazon Locker address to people account.”

“Hey guys check your Amazon account! They hacked and created fake addresses to send stuff to on our accounts. Mine had three addresses I know nothing about,” another said.

A third person added: “Amazon accounts got hacked this morning. Check your addresses for Amazon Locker and Hub addresses added without you knowing.”

    Amazon confirms users weren’t hacked

Amazon has confirmed on Twitter/X that users have not been hacked and the addresses were accidentally added by the company “in error”.

“This isn’t a data security matter and our systems are secure. Amazon pickup locations were added to a small number of customer accounts in error,” Amazon Help said.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and customers with questions about their account are welcome to contact customer service,” the statement continues.

The addresses all belong to real Amazon lockers across the United States and there has been no fraudulent activity.

Company is working to fix the issue

Amazon said they are “working to fix the issue,” so the fake addresses should be deleted from your account soon.

If you want further help regarding this issue, the company is advising people to contact them via their Help & Contact page.

You should select Something else > Sign In > I need more help > then type Customer Service.

    TikTok app randomly spinning

The issue began around the start of December, when people began reporting that their whole screen was moving in circles.

While scrolling through the For You Page, the video starts spinning round and round repeatedly on top of a black background.

The issue mainly seems to be occurring for Android users, particularly those with a S23 Ultra or Google Pixel device.

Users are really confused, with one person writing “It’s driving me nuts” and another adding: “It makes me feel nauseous.”

    Why is TikTok spinning?

TikTok hasn’t addressed the issue, but videos are spinning due to an ongoing glitch with that only occurs on Android devices.

There is nothing wrong with your phone or account, it’s an issue with TikTok that’s completely out of your control.

With 1.1 billion users worldwide, errors are common and the app sometimes malfunctions from time to time.

Sadly, there’s not much you can do but wait for TikTok’s tech team to fix the issue. However, there are some things you can try.

5 possible fixes for app glitch

    1. Close the app. Do this on an iPhone by swiping up on the homepage.
    2. Log out of the app and log back in again.
    3. Delete the app and re download it from the App Store.
    4. Clear your cache. Do this by going to Settings and Privacy > Clear Cache.
    5. Make sure you are using the latest version. Check for any app updates.

    Face Shape Filter goes viral

The filter helps you find your face shape and then reveals whether you should have straight, wavy or curly hair.

You use your device’s camera to fit your face into a number of shapes and determine which one is most accurate.

There are six different options: Circle, diamond, oblong, rectangle, triangle and oval.

Then, the effect will tell you which hair type suits you most and give you three different styles to choose from.

The effect was made by a male hair and grooming company called Forte Series and is designed to be used by men.

How to do the Face Shape Filter

The filter can be found on the Forte Series website here. However, you can also get it on TikTok.

    1. Open TikTok
    2. Click on ‘Home’
    3. Tap the magnifying glass
    4. Search ‘Face Shape Guide’
    5. Click on the first filter
    6. Click ‘Use this effect’

Another Face Shape Filter to try

Another Face Shape Filter is also going viral on TikTok that determines your face shape – but this one has nothing to do with hair.

It follows exactly the same concept of placing your face into different shapes to work out which one it fits most.

It was made by a TikTok user called Grace Choi who told users to tie their hair back and focus on the forehead and chin.

You can find it on TikTok by typing ‘MyFaceShape’ into the search bar and clicking on the first effect in the list.

Spotify imagines Timothée Chalamet in Gag City to celebrate Nicki Minaj’s new album

    [ad_1]

The Pink Friday 2 fever has spread to Spotify as the music streaming app imagines Timothée Chalamet in the AI Kingdom Gag City to celebrate Nicki Minaj’s new album.

Nicki Minaj‘s sequel album was released on Friday, December 8, and it consists of 22 tracks with multiple special features. Stars who didn’t make it on the rapper’s new project are being imagined in the virtual world created by Barbz, and Timothée Chalamet is one of them.

Spotify imagines Timothée Chalamet in Gag City

Spotify is the latest to hop on the biggest trend that was born during fans’ anticipation of Pink Friday 2.

The music app has updated its banner for teen beats to reflect a picture of Timothée in Gag City while clad in a pink outfit.

Even though the banner is themed on Nicki’s album, the songs on the tracklist are from several different artists, and only one from Pink Friday 2.

Most fans have taken issue with the fact that teen beats’ tracklist only features Are You Gone Already from the rapper’s new album under Tate McRae’s Hurt My Feelings – the first song on the tracklist – and no other song from Pink Friday 2.

The caption under the banner featuring the Hollywood actor reads: “Timmy showing up to gag city, whimsy edition.”

New face in Nicki Minaj’s virtual realm sends fans wild

Timothée’s fans love his presence in the AI Kingdom. A few of them have praised Spotify for making teen beats edgier by bringing the actor to the pink-tinted world, which has already been graced by many AI celebrities, including Rihanna, Kanye West, Ice Spice, and others.

One fan branded Spotify’s imagination of Timothée in Gag City as a “legendary move”, while another said the picture looks “too real.”

“Timothée is really keeping up with the latest beats! But now, I can’t stop picturing him at #GagCity with Nicki. Thanks for the laugh!” said another.

A third fan said: I’ll definitely give it a listen and see how the new cover and layout match the vibe of the playlist.” Another described the new layout as “very cool.”

What is the Gag City trend?

Gag City is an AI-generated kingdom created by Barbz and themed on Nicki Minaj‘s new album. The name of the city is a wordplay for “gagged”, a slang to describe something amazing or stunning.

After Nicki shared the cover art on her album – where she is seen standing on a pink subway in a pink-tinted city – fans came up with the amazing idea of creating a full-fledged city using AI.

That’s how Gag City came to be.

Nicki has actively participated in the trend since it started and has even shared her own version of Gag City to keep Barbz updated about Pink Friday 2.

UPS driver panics as ‘porch pirate’ German Sheppard is caught stealing his package

    [ad_1]

A UPS driver shared the hilarious moment he had to chase a neighbor’s German Sheperd dog after it stole the package he delivered.

Delivery driver Tre Welch was left enlisting the help of one of his colleagues when he was unable to retrieve the parcel from the dog. Welch shared footage of the scene to TikTok just two days ago, where it’s been viewed over 600,000 times.

The German Sheperd became a “porch pirate” for the UPS driver

Welch first showed the German Sheperd with the Amazon Prime delivery sat between its teeth. “I didn’t deliver that to you,” he told the dog.

The dog however wasn’t willing to give up easily and instead dashed off away from Welch and across the front yard. “Here,” he called to the dog, but to no avail. “They’re going to say I didn’t deliver,” he reasoned.

Still, the dog was undeterred and continued with the parcel in its mouth. It was only when Welch’s co-worker stepped in that the package made it to safety, The co-worker held out his hand and called the dog over, managing to take the package back from the dog’s mouth with ease.

Welch returned the package to the home, but the German Shoered wasn’t going down without a fight and returned to Welch. In a final attempt to prevent the canine porch pirate from striking again, Welch placed the parcel behind the screen door.

“I know you didn’t get online and order this so keep ya paws and mouth off,” joked Welch in the caption of his TikTok video.

The four-legged thief has melted hearts online

It might have made Welch’s day a little harder, but the hilarious run-in with the dog has been entertaining online since he posted the video.

“The cutest porch pirate,” wrote one TikTok user.

“Y’all need to hire him, you know how many steps he will save you,” joked another.

One comment reads: “He’s applying for your job as your assistant.”

Delivery drivers and dogs have a love-hate relationship

It’s a classic combination. Although Welch’s experience with this dog was a fun one, not all are always so great.

In 2022, over 5,300 US Postal Service employees were attacked by dogs while delivering mail, according to the yearly statistics released. In 2021, 5,400 employees were involved in dog attacks while working.

USPS officials say that even well-behaved dogs can suddenly lash out at delivery drivers.

  • Popular baby mattresses sold on Amazon recalled over suffocation fears

Popular baby mattresses sold on Amazon recalled over suffocation fears

    [ad_1]

Infant play mattresses sold exclusively on Amazon are being recalled over risks of suffocation.

No injuries have yet been reported but the Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging all customers to destroy their mattresses after they failed vital safety tests.

Vibe Bear’s Play Yard Mattresses and Moonsea Pack and Play Mattresses were both recalled by the CPSC yesterday.

The CPSC recalled infant mattresses over suffocation risks

Moonsea Pack and Play mattresses sold around 11,000 units exclusively on Amazon, reports the CPSC. The organization says the mattress poses a significant suffocation hazard to children after it failed the thickness test. The product also has missing warnings and labels.

These mattresses are white and fold in a tri-fold pattern. The mattress has a diamond pattern on the top and is 37.5 inches long by 26 inches wide.

Mattresses with a date code between 15/08/2022 and 23/08/2023 printed on the small tag are involved in this recall.

Vibe Bear mattresses sold around 2,000 units on Amazon, according to the CPSC. These mattresses are with a diagonal quilted surface. They have graphics of paintbrushes, paints, and nature images printed on them. The mattresses are around 38 inches by 26 inches and fold in half. Vibe Bear mattresses were sold from January 2023 to June 2023.

Like the Moonsea mattresses, Vibe Bear mattresses also failed the thickness test and have missing warnings and labels.

HITC has contacted Moonsea and Amazon for comment.

What to do if you have one of these mattresses

Both companies and Amazon are reportedly contacting purchasers directly.

Customers are being instructed by the CPSC to immediately stop using the products and destroy the recalled mattresses.

Vibe Bear customers should contact the company by email to receive a full refund and to receive directions on how best to dispose of the mattress.

Moonsea customers should email [email protected] or visit https://www.moonseasleep.com/pages/product-recalls for detailed instructions on how to request a refund.

There were more infant mattress recalls last month

On November 30, DODO Baby House Pack and Play mattresses were also recalled by the CPSC for similar reasons, with the mattresses posing a suffocation risk.

Only mattresses manufactured on or after August 1tth 2022 were recalled. Customers were instructed to destroy their product by cutting it in half before sending photos of the destroyed mattresses to customer service to obtain a full refund.

No injuries or accidents were reported before the recall.

‘Luckiest man alive’ misses leaping tiger by a few seconds at Jim Corbett National Park

    [ad_1]

A man has been dubbed the “luckiest man alive” after footage captured his close encounter with a running tiger.

The man was mere seconds from being in the direct way of a charging tiger at Jim Corbett National Park in northern India.

A scary national park encounter with a tiger on video

After being shared to X, formally known as Twitter, by Indian Forest Service Worker Parveen Kawman yesterday, the tense video has been viewed over 500,000 times.

“Is he the luckiest man alive? Tiger seems least bothered,” he captioned the video, citing the Jim Corbett National Park as the location.

The video showed a man at the national park casually walking along the road, before suddenly halting and stepping backwards. Moments later, a speeding tiger came running out of the bushes and across the road, before disappearing out of sight again.

He appeared to speak to people out of frame and pointed towards the tiger.

“Truly the luckiest man alive,” replied one X user to the viral video.

“Tiger must’ve been late for a date,” joked another.

Jim Corbett National Park is home to many tigers

It’s unsurprising that the man seemed so unfazed by the tiger, seeing as Jim Corbett National Park is home to so many tigers.

The national park is known for its high population of tigers and is even a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve. The Corbett Tiger Reserve includes adjacent protected areas of land and includes a total area of 497 square miles.

Jim Corbett National Park is India’s oldest national park and was established for the protection of the Bengal Tiger. India’s Project Tiger was set up in the park in 1973 and aims to provide safe havens for the animal within many of the country’s national parks.

Tigers aren’t the only animals found in the national park, with sloths, black bears, elephants, and wild boards among the many other mammals found there.

Another wild animal close encounter caught on film

Last month, a cyclist’s scarily close encounter with a wild bear in Canada was documented by a local resident.

The bear was initially charging at a herd of shep in the road, when a cyclist sped past, coming in the direct line of the moving bear. As shown in the video, the cyclist came meters away from the charging bear.

Visitor Bree caught the moment on camera and shared it to her Instagram, as reported by HITC at the time. “This guy [the bear] was ambling down the highway as we got to the parking lot but little did we know there was a herd of bighorn sheep hanging around as well. Turns out grizzlies can move pretty fast when they are chasing after prey,” Bree captioned the video.

Tinder ‘Wrapped’ feature tells you your dating style with ‘Year in Swipe’ quiz

Forget Spotify Wrapped, Tinder has just launched its own feature which gives you some insight into your dating in 2023.

Tinder ‘Year in Swipe’ 2023 arrives

The dating app’s ‘Wrapped’ style feature is called ‘Year in Swipe’ and it’s popped up on people’s apps this week.

You have to complete a quiz with various questions about life and dating and you’re then given a unique dating style that sums you up.

They all have funny names like “you were living in a delulu world looking for your solulu” and “you were N.A.T.O (not attached to outcomes)”.

Sadly, the feature doesn’t tell you statistics like how many people you swiped in 2023 or the number of minutes spent using the app.

How to see your Tinder ‘Wrapped’

To view your ‘Wrapped’, all you have to do is open the Tinder app and a box should pop up that says: “Year in Swipe.”

“Look back at how your year went in the world of Tinder and learn what your dating style is with out all new quiz,” it continues.

Tap ‘Take quiz’ and you’ll be able to see your ‘Wrapped’ and find out what type of dater you were in 2023.

If the box doesn’t appear, that probably means you didn’t use Tinder enough this year to get your ‘Year in Swipe’.

Keep your eyes peeled over the following days though because the feature could just take a little while to arrive on your app.

Tinder has also revealed some general trends about the dating world in 2023 using users’ data that are really interesting.

They said that overall, daters were “less concerned about where their relationships were headed” and more interested in “creating opportunities to have new memorable experiences”.

The year was marked by “overarching themes of positivity” and a focus on “bettering one’s self through making connections with others”.

This is demonstrated with Tinder’s most used emoji in 2023, the grey box with the word “on” inside with two arrows.

The dating site added that singles fully embraced “main character energy” and ditched the pressure of rushing into a happily ever after.

“This refreshingly optimistic and lighthearted approach to making new connections took the pressure off establishing relationship labels and outcomes.”

It’s a collaboration like none other as some TikTok users claim KFC is selling the Samyang Buldak Double Down burger in certain countries.

KFC is known for introducing limited menu items in its restaurants around the world. KFC’s Buldak Double Down Burger takes over TikTok

Several TikTok users note that KFC’s Samyang Buldak Double Down Burger is available in Malaysia, while users from other countries claim the item isn’t found in their respective regions.

The viral item is made using KFC’s signature Double Down Burger – two pieces of fried chicken fillet instead of bread containing bacon, cheese, and a sauce – with Samyang Buldak ramen placed between the meat.

Users who got to try the dish have reviewed it as moderately spicy and juicy, while the taste of the rest of the ingredients are same as the classic Double Down Burger.

KFC’s spicy series also includes the Samyang Buldak Cheezilla, which is comparatively hotter than the other dish.

It isn’t clear if the KFC x Samyang menu is available for a limited period and if the restaurant plans on adding more items to the spicy edition.

Fans urge the restaurant to bring to their country

KFC fans in the United States, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere in the world are requesting KFC to introduce the Samyang Buldak Double Down Burger in their countries as they can’t wait to taste it after seeing lucky TikTok users rave about it.

But, KFC hasn’t officially announced any plans to launch the item in its franchise worldwide at the time of writing this.

One user commented: “@KFC, can we please have this in the United States?”

“Why doesn’t KFC UK have Buldak Double Down?” asked another.

One KFC fan wrote: “I want that KFC Samyang Buldak Double Down so bad”
